Staff very helpful and friendly. I brought food but there’s no freezer or refrigerator in the room, so I asked if I could save them in the hotel’s kitchen and the staff allowed and helped. The location is also very close to Goa Maria Kerep, which is my destination for this trip. The shower water was not hot. But in my opinion, Griya Katarina was the best place to stay near Goa Maria Kerep Ambarawa.

The hotel is strategically located in the center of Ambarawa, with a beautiful rural setting and very cool air. It offers views of Mount Merbabu and the surrounding mountains. I stayed here as a layover after my trip home and wanted to visit the Ambarawa Railway Museum. It's surprisingly close, and don't forget Fort Willem. It's simply amazing 👍👍👍

The Wi-Fi is terrible, intermittent, and you have to use your own package. Parking is inadequate, especially when the hotel is full, making getting in and out of cars a bit difficult.

The place is quite comfortable and close to the running venue where I participated in the running event in Mesastila. The price is also quite reasonable, with free breakfast. Thank you to Grya Katarina. Next time I participate in another event, I will come back there.

This is a pretty decent hotel for the price. And the food is delicious, too.

All the hotel staff were very friendly, check-in and check-out were easy and hassle-free. The room smelled nice and clean, the sheets, pillows, and blankets were all spotless. The bathroom, although a little under-maintained, was still clean and comfortable. The hot shower worked well. Breakfast was delicious.
