A one-night transit, two rooms after a land trip from Bali. The Luminor Banyuwangi hotel is located only 10 minutes from Ketapang harbor. We arrived early at 11:30 AM and were accommodated at 1:30 PM. Our family was very happy. While waiting for our room to be ready, we had lunch at the Sky Restaurant on the 5th floor. The food was delicious and well presented, but the food only came one at a time, and our mother's grilled rice took a very long time to arrive. It took almost 20 minutes for our food to arrive. The room and facilities were pleasant, but the gym equipment was still not up to par in our opinion, the material was not strong enough so it was a bit dangerous. The swimming pool was quite clean, but there was no staff on standby and no towels were provided. We contacted the FO via WhatsApp but the response was a bit slow, so we returned to our room soaked and slippery, especially since the hotel corridors were uncarpeted. The breakfast food variety was quite varied and the taste was also good, but there was no yogurt. Next time we visit Bali by land, we will stay/transit at this hotel again.

I don't know why most hotels in BWI are overpriced. This hotel is actually nice, but... there's a catch: 1. BF, for a 3-star hotel, feels lacking, especially considering the price... they only offer Indonesian dishes like fried rice, noodles, vegetables, chicken, bread, and a few cakes. There's an egg corner, thankfully. The taste is so-so. For a 3-star hotel, I think it's still really lacking. 2. TV. It's horrible. The picture is terrible... and there's only a few channels. 3. I stayed in a Family Suite. One large bed and one bunk bed with a children's theme. The bunk bed seemed like a regular foam mattress. I found a few ants on the bedsheet and blanket. Hopefully, this will be addressed. 4. On the second night I stayed in the Family Suite, I heard the sound of many large rats running around on the ceiling... I hope the pest control is improved. From 11 PM to 4 AM.
