The hotel is strategically located near GI Mall

It was a shame I stayed last night. Shalva is my favorite hotel because it's close to the GI, and it's just a short walk to the CFD. I've stayed there several times and I've always been satisfied. However, I don't know why I got such a poorly maintained room. The AC was really dirty, there were some dirty spots on the curtains, the floor was uneven, some of the floors were raised, and the bathroom faucet was broken and leaking a bit. I complained to the receptionist asking for a room change because it wasn't comfortable. They immediately responded by giving me a key to a room on another floor and telling me to check it out. I checked it out and it was the same :( The faucet was also broken, and the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, so it was a bit stuffy :( I don't know if the suite I chose was rarely booked or what, so it seemed like it wasn't well maintained. I've stayed there a few times, but the deluxe rooms have been fine :( I hope they fix the shortcomings :( The staff are all friendly and quick. But the room maintenance is lacking :(

The food is quite good for the price of a room plus breakfast. Staying there is indeed the purpose of exploring Gi and the surrounding area, just a 6-minute walk to get there. To check-in requires a 100,000 IDR deposit or ID, the breakfast is quite interesting, but when the bread section I asked for it to be replaced because it had mold 🙏🏻. The hotel is generally pleasant, except for the lack of maintenance and the kingkoil mattress.

It's always a pleasure to stay here, especially considering its proximity to Thamrin City. It's easy to get around, and there are plenty of eateries nearby. There are, of course, drawbacks, especially since getting to and from the hotel often involves traffic jams, so you rarely get dropped off directly in front of the lobby. Instead, stay at the closest and easiest location, as that would waste a lot of time.

staff was friendly but the room was not satisfactory. There were stain on the chairs. No extra pillow. Bathroom only provided with toothbrush, shampoo and shower gel. Electrical outlet uses indonesia's socket, so need to bring your international adaptor; my fault. the towel does not absorb water after shower. Full Stop

The room kinda smell and toilet a bit dirty. But location very near thamrin city walk distance but be careful of the road. Service and their bellboy very helpful.

My subscription stays, close to everywhere

I really like it, even though the lobby is a bit narrow, the room is spacious and close to the shopping center. If possible, the price could be lowered again.

The food here is delicious. Only the floor of the room I stayed in was a bit damaged. Otherwise, it was satisfactory.
