1st time staying here. We’ve booked this place on the spot due to a scheduled power disruption taking place at the hotel next door that we usually stay and have booked but requested for cancellation. Staff Kinan was very helpful and patient at the front desk when we approached him for help with our reservation. Was pleasantly surprised by the room standard and tv size. Seriously considering to come back to stay here for our staycation. We thought it would be a run down old place but the upkeep is not too bad. This explains why the hotel looks rather crowded. The cons: Network is very weak. Mini fridge is not cold. Soundproofing work could be strong enough too We opted for a non-smoking room but the corridor was filled with rather strong smell.

I love the stay, perfect location with many eateries nearby. I want to compliment the receptionist Dirmansyah, upon seeing that I bring young kid along he upgraded my room. That is very thoughtful to ensure we have a more enjoyable stay.

We took a 3-bedroom apartment, but it turned out to have 4 rooms, it was huge, we were really satisfied with the price, and we will come back here again next time 🥰

The location is perfect, right next to KSL City Mall, near the night market. The rooms are spacious and clean 👍

When I go to Johor with family, I like to stay at KSL hotel. The room was clean and quite large. The bathroom was also quite large and clean. There are many food vendors around the hotel.

It's close to everywhere, easy to find food, clean rooms.

The receptionist service was very bad, this is not the first time I have received bad service.

Very strategic location with mall access below the hotel, and easy to check out.

i am asking for fork and spoon but the hotel didn't give me until last day i am staying for 2 days

Good place, good service, the room is so clean and comfortable, highly recommend this hotel for a stay if you are at Johor Bahru.

I have been a regular at this KSL hotel for decades, from when I was a kid until I finished college... it's not complicated, everything is here, direct access to the mall, lots of food stalls... the hotel is crowded with various foreign tourists, check out is fast, there is a room card box, check in has to queue if it's high season

The staff is very friendly and polite, next time I still want to stay at Sunway Putra Hotel, it's great, there is a mall, eating is easy and clean 🙏

Good for vacation, medical trip, or transit to Kuala Lumpur

Always stay here due to it being convenient, food around, mall beside it, and going everywhere is easy by Grab.

Check-in was fast and room requests were met. But hotel buffet breakfast food can be improved in variety, taste, and presentation.

Only setback is the lift, too many guests yet only 4 lifts.
