Beautifully decorated, spacious, individually designed rooms. Cosy with excellent facilities. Easy check-in. Attractive, welcoming restaurant serving exceptional food. Bar area could have been warmer, very cold in fact! However, would highly recommend from an accommodation and food perspective

The staff was friendly and helpful. The place wasnt busy which was good. I loved the quirkyness of the place and it was nice and quite. We stayed in the aln room. The downsides was the bed was as hard as a brick and i didn't have a good nights sleep. The bath in the room was lovely and had plenty hot water. It was chipped in places though. The place was definitely rustic and had character but the cleanliness could have been better with the dust and cobwebs.

Overall our 2 night stay was lovely but for a 5* Rated pub/restaurant we were left a little disappointed. No hot water on the first morning - it was sorted efficiently though. Faulty main light in room No fresh milk - would expect for 5* Only a few coffee pods/not replenished Outdoor area slightly untidy

Great first stay at the Joiners Arms. We took our dog and they had a bed, ball, bowls and treats in our room. Sunday lunch was amazing as ever, service prompt, extra gravy not a problem. Couldn't fault breakfast, really impressive and the check-in/check-out was easy. Would highly recommend.

Very unwelcoming on arrival , quite rude actually. Castle view cottage is actually just a run down cold bungalow. The electric Shower is absolutely pathetic . Beds fairly comfortable, but had to sleep fully clothed as the property despite having electric heaters is really cold. We had an evening meal which was average at best and expensive for the quality. The bill comes pre loaded with a hefty service charge , a joke really as the service was poor. Better option is to go into bamburgh and eat at the potted lobster (thank me later) real quality food and service. Only positive for us was a surprisingly decent breakfast which we all enjoyed . Definitely not a 5 star experience, far from it.

Really nice cosy, romantic room. Really good breakfast. We had dinner booked elsewhere, but we wished we had a second night to eat at the restaurant, it looked very nice.
