All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. I would not like to be arriving at night and having to find the entrance! If there was one thing i would have liked, it is Wifi. Its ok to be in the middle of nowhere for a break (and this place really is) but the wifi was badly needed. If you have no reception you are truly stuffed. I would book again if we ever had to go back for cross country. Note, food delivery is impossible but, there are some great places in Healesville and there is also a coles

Very Quiet set back from the road so all you can hear is Nature. Cottage had everything we were after for a relaxing time.

While the cottage itself was as it is portrayed in the photos online, the surrounds of the property were not as we expected. We booked this cottage as the property had a playground however, it looked incredibly unsafe. With exposed nails, no safety chain on the baby swing and a very sad looking sandpit (with minimal sand), my little boy was not able to play on it. The property advertised a minimum breakfast supplied in the cottages (bread, spreads, milk) for which we found out the following morning when we contacted the owners, they were no longer supplying. There wasn't even any oil, salt or any other basic supplies that we have found in other properties around the yarra valley. A self contained cottage should at least have that provided.

No real complaints besides not having WIFI when listed as having it.. With very little phone reception this was annoying. Bed was okay but nothing special needs an update. Apart from that its was great.

A beautiful cottage on a lovely and quiet block. Nicely warm with the wood fire and reverse cycle air conditioner. The provision of bread, milk and spreadables was wonderful, and the full kitchen was very handy. I would definitely love to stay again.

The property was spacious, clean and well-kept. Beds were very comfortable. We had a relaxing time with friends and it was so easy to clean up after ourselves too. It was nice of the owner to provide milk, bread, and a bowl of butter/jam in the fridge and personally take care of missing bulbs. We waa excellent at communicating and replylied promptly. I would highly recommend to everyone.

This property lives up to its name... A sanctuary indeed! The grounds are picturesque and peaceful - we spend a fair bit of time just walking around and sitting at the lily pond. Our cottage was rustic and charming, bed was super comfortable and the spa a lovely way to end the day. Will definitely be back for a longer stay

We had such a great time staying here. Everything was as described and the service was above our expectations. Super close to everything we wanted to see in Healesville. The cottage and grounds it self was super cute, goats and bunnies, a beautiful lake and a wonderful view. When we visit Healesville again this will definitely be our accomodation choice! Thank you

This was a birthday gift for us both, and it was just perfect. We had cabin No. 6, called the Loft, it was basically a 3 level open plan inside wood cabin. There was a kitchen and lounge at the bottom, with TV and log glass front fire (lots of firewood provided), mid level was a large 2 person spa, and top level was the bedroom (bed very comfy). Top / bedroom level had a bathroom with shower (good temp and pressure), the Bottom level had a toilet (plus washing machine and dryer). Kitchen had everything you would need for a few nights - we had breakfast in (some basics are provided), lunch out, and then brought something back for dinner - plus a bottle of wine each night ! Oven and microwave are in the kitchen. From the verandah you can look out across a nice expanse of grass down to the large pond. Rabbits & various birds around the grounds. 5 min drive to Healesville Sanctuary, 10 min max into Healesville town - enough shops / cafes / pubs / restos to keep you happy. Owner (Grant) ~ very helpful and always available if needed. Highly recommended property by us for sure. Thank you Sanctuary Park Cottages for a great stay ! - Regards, Geoff & Louise
