Didn’t put a foot wrong and put many right our whole stay. The staff were so polite, thoughtful and patient with us (we couldn’t work the washing machines at first). One of them was practising his English with us at check in and he did very well!
The beds in the shared room were spacious and private - we were a two and could draw back a curtain between our beds to make a larger space together which was a nice touch. There is enough curtain coverage to sleep even when the main light is on.
Location is excellent right by the atom bomb museum and park, one tram from the main Shinkansen station. It’s on the quieter side of the park which is nice as the main nightlife is walkable just the other side but it’s peaceful around the hostel at night.
100% would recommend. Discounted beer at the hostel bar if you stay too!
P.S the ‘Bakery Roti’ about a 5min walk away is nothing short of a revelation, definitely go there for a tasty and great value breakfast/ lunch.
