Didn’t put a foot wrong and put many right our whole stay. The staff were so polite, thoughtful and patient with us (we couldn’t work the washing machines at first). One of them was practising his English with us at check in and he did very well! The beds in the shared room were spacious and private - we were a two and could draw back a curtain between our beds to make a larger space together which was a nice touch. There is enough curtain coverage to sleep even when the main light is on. Location is excellent right by the atom bomb museum and park, one tram from the main Shinkansen station. It’s on the quieter side of the park which is nice as the main nightlife is walkable just the other side but it’s peaceful around the hostel at night. 100% would recommend. Discounted beer at the hostel bar if you stay too! P.S the ‘Bakery Roti’ about a 5min walk away is nothing short of a revelation, definitely go there for a tasty and great value breakfast/ lunch.

As several other reviews have mentioned, the beds are separated by curtains and not a solid barrier. So, the neighboring person can reach over and touch you. The second issue is that there are NO luggage lockers. This is basically unheard of for a hostel. Anything the size of a laptop or bigger cannot be stored and is at risk (unless you leave it with staff during business hours). That said, nearly all problems are rendered not-so-bad by the incredible hospitality of the staff. They may be the nicest employees of any hotel/hostel/airbnb I've ever experienced. Willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Oh, and the location is great.

Great hostel. Right near the tram for miyajima and only a 20 minute walk from the atomic dome and the museum. Loved Hiroshima and a great hostel.

Great Hostel. Very tidy and clean. Lovely people that speak good English and are very kind and flexible. Location is also great. Would highly recommend!

Very nice hostel with a bar and common area on the ground floor. Beds are good, but the pillows were a bit hard. Staff is super friendly and speaks good English. Location is also really good. Only a small point (specific to us): unfortunately there weren't lockers that fit our laptops (15.6 inch). The staff could keep them in their office, but this meant we could only retrieve them during operating hours.
