Rooms a dated and overly priced for what they are. Food is also crazy expensive

Location is lovely

Amazing location and access to unscheduled and scheduled activities. Ideal location to watch the sunshine on the surrounding mountains while enjoying a refreshing beverage after a day of hiking, biking, zip lining and floating sauna/cold plunge. Centrally located with its own restaurants, and walking distance to several others. Exactly as advertised.

In an amazing location. Very helpful staff, excellent buffet dinner and breakfast. Hair in bathroom sink is always unsightly. Beds very soft. Norway is expensive.

I booked a room with a view to the fjords, around 600 usd. The room was old, the view to the parking lot, the staff didn't have any other room to give me. It was the ugliest most expensive hotel I ever booked. Curtins were broken, room was old, bathroom old. No amenities. Hotel breakfast was abundant but you couldn't even order an espresso. I didn't love it. Flam is beautiful though.

Unbelievable views in a fairytale town. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. Great food, cute room, friendly staff, and the most convenient location to enjoy the wonders that Flam has to offer. I’d recommend this stay to anyone. Flam is well-worth a visit!

Staff and location

A beautiful property at the Flam, Norway. It's a bit dated but it is still a very nice place to stay at the small town. Staff were friendly, breakfast was very good.

Quaint hotel, lovely setting.

The hotel was beautiful in an old way and I was lucky to have avoided the giant cruise ships that block up the fjord but access to the floating sauna and train was very good. I'm just really unhappy that the towel I left behind was obviously thrown away by staff as when I asked for them to find it, they said cleaners said it wasnt there, which is not true as I left it drying after the floating sauna. So be careful, don't leave your items in the room as staff won't help you get them back..

The room was tidy, comfortable, and very well presented. One of the highlights was the balcony overlooking the fjords — the views were absolutely stunning and made the stay feel really special. It was the perfect spot to sit and take in the scenery. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, making everything easy from check-in onwards. Instead of a formal restaurant, there were several food vans set up like a small food market, offering a great variety of options. Everything we tried was really nice and it created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, a lovely stay with great views, welcoming staff, and a unique dining setup that we really enjoyed.
