Space for breakfast was over crowded by chairs & tables. Not enough space between the tables. Was informed by the waiting in staff that we were only allowed one breakfast choice off the menu - I wanted a small bowl of porridge and an omelette. Great rooms, spacious bathrooms, great setting for a hotel and friendly bar and Brassie staff who were very helpful and assisted with requests.

Second visit and just as good. Room was even better,. Got to eat in the restaurant and the food was spot on. Highly recommended and great pricing midweek

Nice hotel in general although the shower this time was tiny, felt like I was in a cupboard. Poor WiFi and disappointed that the bar closed at 10pm, I appreciate it dues not belong to the hotel but you think they would have an agreement as 99% of hotel clients use it. Staff were excellent and breakfast was very good

Lovely hotel & room. Surroundings were beautiful. Super arrangement (coffee shop) for breakfast, but only one option from the menu was too limited. Food when it arrived wasn't hot enough really. Should have pointed this out. Don't like to make a fuss.

Lovely place that I didn't know existed. Very welcoming staff, large comfortable room and well appointed bathroom, The adjacent cafe was great and the staff lovely. Didn't eat at the restaurant but did host a meeting with clients. Really smart place and will definitely stay for food on my next visit

Rooms are to a high standard and very clean, they are also equipped with a mini bar and contents (extra charge). Staff are very polite, friendly, helpful and attentive. The food in the Bistro is very good with ample choice, the breakfast choice is good and the food amazing.

The breakfast was awful. We had to book time slot. However when we arrived the eggs weren’t ready. I informed them in advance I was vegetarian when arrived for breakfast they asked if I anted vegetarian sausage. I waited 15 minutes and hen I asked if it was ready waitress said she forgot to order it. Coffee was horrible although they had a coffee machine they just had jug of coffee on side. Hotel room was 5* however breakfast was 1*. Really disappointing

We only stayed here for one Night while in the area, lovely gardens,rooms are very nicely decorated with a modern bathroom, we had a few cobwebs but generally very clean, breakfast included which was very nice and enough for me if you are the sort of person that likes a huge full English you may be disappointed 1 sausage and 2 bacon but it was enough for us, Beds very comfortable had a lovely nights sleep.

Very nice stay staff could not be more helpful and pleasant. Room was very big with extras that made the stay even better. Bath robes, magazines and umbrella these extra made it feel like a personal touch, the coffee and tea making facilities in the room very good. Herbal tea bags would have been nice but that’s just a personal preference. We will definitely be booking to stay again.
