Beautiful boutique and historic property -great location near /but not in Valetta. Short and convenient ferry ride away. Amazing breakfast and staff was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay here! The location is walking distance to restaurants and local grocery stores. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. We would recommend to anyone visiting Malta for the first time.

Absolutely amazing

The hotel was beautiful and it had a lovely fragrance as soon as you entered. The room was amazing, perfect for myself, husband and grown up daughter as she had her own private space. The rooftop pool was absolutely stunning with a fantastic view. We really looked forward to breakfast each morning as there was a very good selection. We also dined in the restaurant twice. The food was excellent, We really enjoyed the Swordfish. The staff were also extremely helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. We loved every moment and I could not fault anything. 😊

Overall a very beautiful property. We found the rooms to be dark with most windows opening to internal areas of the hotel. The stone walls make for a damp room that can sometimes smell a bit musky. The bathrooms are modern but dark. The restaurant is fabulous. The staff and overall location is excellent. Located far away from the tourist chaos of Valletta.

Breakfast was nice and made to order. The staff is the heart of the facility. Everyone we spoke with was professional, courteous, and tremendously helpful.

When you book the fortress suite on a single or non family basis your room has no windows! A ceiling glass sheds daylight. Since the hotel is built into a centuries old fortress the walls of the room smell accordingly. Staff sweet and helpful. Location is superb, opposite busy touristy Valetta.

It was a very clean room. But lanai chairs were a little bit dusty. But I understand there had super windy.

Great large room. Great view. Very well kept and appointed. The location is perfect. Close enough to enjoy everything but away from the crowds. We highly recommend this historic hotel.

Warm welcome and fast check in. The room was ready even though we arrived several hours early. Fabulous large room, spotlessly clean. All staff were excellent but Nena at breakfast was absolutely brilliant and thoughtful. Beautiful location perfect for exploring and catching the ferry to Valletta. This hotel gets my highest recommendation, don’t hesitate to book.

It may be easier to list what did not stand out at this hotel! The hotel builds effortlessly on its old roots and merges historic architecture with all the amenities expected in an amazing hotel. The staff were professional and friendly at check in and throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. Having a kitchenette in the room made taking care of the baby so much easier. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with options for every taste. It was easy to walk to many sites and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Such a unique place, love the pool with a view and had a great evening meal. I'll be back
