First and foremost: in case you like to meet a great host...go to Grand Tabor and meet Ilona. She knows exactly how te be a natural friendly host. The hotelrooms are truly ok. The breakfast however (surprisingly also prepared by Ilona!) is wunderful and in a cosy room which is also reception. Parking places available, walking distance from downtown Tabor, a romantic and interesting cute little town of more a village to be honest. Bottom line: please visit Grand Tabor and enjoy...uhm like I am doing writing this.

We went here for a weekend and it was very nice stay. The bed was VERY comfy, the bathroom tidy and nice. We selected the room DELUXE Secese and it was truly much larger than the classical Superior room that friends of us had. Also the bathroom was much more spacious. 100 % worth to pay up for that. The breakfast was nice and had everything including the cereal bars for later snack. They also provided me glutenfree pastry. Overall i dont have anything to say against and can only recommend to stay here.

The woman at reception was super nice and very helpful. Check in and check out were easy. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was great (all the typical European options). We were just there for a night while on a bike tour, so we can't really speak to its location aside from nearness to the bike route.

We were received very friendly by the staff at the reception, their English was good which helped in the communication. We arrived before noon. That was not a problem here (in other hotels we have experienced this to be an issue). There was a special safe place for our bikes (we are on a biking holiday) inside the hotel, we even got help to get the bikes up the stairs. Breakfast is complete, with fresh fruits! Room was nice and clean. Even though outside it was hot (+30celcius) and the room did not have airconditioning, the room temperature was surprisingly nice and cool. A small kitchen with microwave is available - though we did not use this. The central location in Tabor is ideal. We had an excellent stay!

This hotel is excellent and above average for a 1-star hotel! Everything was very clean and the staff was very accommodating and cordial. We could communicate very well in English. The breakfast was very lovingly prepared and there is something for everyone. Absolutely recommendable. However, no one is available after 9 pm, which is of course not so nice if the arrival should be delayed, e.g. due to traffic jams.
