We stayed in Malcesine for four nights and paid extra for a lake-view room, which was absolutely worth it. Sitting on the balcony in the morning or in the evening with a drink, taking in the beautiful lake and surrounding mountains, was one of the highlights of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. It wasn't particularly spacious, but it had everything we needed, including plenty of storage and complimentary shampoo and shower gel. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We had one small issue with our room key, but it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Breakfast offered a good selection, with freshly cooked eggs and bacon made to order each morning, alongside fresh fruit, cereals and pastries. Everything we tried was very good. We didn't have dinner at the hotel as the restaurant offered a fixed four-course menu (€38 per person), which was a little more formal than we were looking for. Instead, we enjoyed exploring the town, with Bar Oasis, just a short walk away, becoming a favourite for excellent €7 cocktails. The hotel's facilities were also very good. Although we didn't have time to use everything, the pool, hot tub and gym all looked well maintained and were popular with other guests. There was ample parking, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Overall, we'd happily stay here again and would definitely recommend paying extra for a lake-view room.

This hotel is simply wonderful and should be four or even five stars! The whole complex is spotless, absolutely immaculate. The staff are fantastic and very attentive and the breakfast is great. We will be back!

Fabulous hotel😊 couldn't ask for more. Excellent breakfast and all the staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful view from the balcony. Yes there is. Short stroll into town, but perfect for a unwinding after a busy day around the lake.

Everything about this hotel was great, 10/10, 5 star. The staff were very helpful explaining the area, how to get to town which is a short 5 min walk. Great views, great rooms, great food!

Excellent location - Walking distance to town, funicular, bus, etc. Room was very clean with balcony and great views. Great breakfast. Staff was terrific and very helpful. Would highly recommend and stay again!

The location and outlook of the hotel was very good and within walking distance of the Castle. The breakfast was varied and very nice and all the staff were professional and very helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The pool was not heated although refreshing.

A lovely friendly family run hotel with beautiful views overlooking Lake Garda. We were arriving early evening by boat and the owner organised a pick up for us to the hotel. All of the staff we encountered were happy, friendly and hardworking. Very comfy beds and excellent facilities. Excellent breakfasts and beautifully cooked evening meals. We just had a short stay so no time to enjoy The Wellness Centre but we certainly hope to return to use it in the future.

Excellent location just outside of Malcesine, easily walkable. Fantastic panoramic views of the mountains from the pool and terrace. Pool was busy and limited sun loungers but views were breathtaking. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks.

Hotel Centrale was absolutely perfect—so quaint and full of charm, right in the heart of Bellagio. We had the best time ever staying here! The service was amazing from start to finish, and the breakfast each morning was spectacular—served with a beautiful view of the lake. The location couldn’t be better, just steps away from all the best restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. A special thank you to Michele, who was incredibly thoughtful and kind. He shared some wonderful history about the hotel and made our entire experience feel so personal and special. The hotel is still run by his family, and you can truly feel the love and care they put into everything. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home, and we’re already dreaming about coming back. Breakfast was fantastic , had bacon and eggs. Air conditioning was very strong, room was cleaned everyday. Absolutely could not recommend this hotel enough.

I would 100% recommend this property . The staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was big and great balcony view (double deluxe) breakfast was plentiful and great choice! Convent for the main area of malcesine . Spotless clean !!

Wonderful hotel for an early-April break in Malcesine. Stunning location with views across the dramatic landscape of the lake. Nice choice of wine and cocktails - and the food was excellent. Good choice of breakfast items (Continental), snacks for lunch, then a fixed-price set menu for dinner. We ate at the hotel one night only - it is quite expensive, but was of a high standard. We elected to eat in town the other nights (10-15 mins walk). We weren't able to use either the pool or spa facilities based on the weather.

Just came back from a short visit at the Capri. The hotel is stunning and the views of the lake are breathtaking. Outside pool is lovely and you can book a hour slot for the hot tub and sauna. Breakfast set up was great. The evening menu looked great but unable to attend due to my daughter being a fussy eater. 10-15 minutes walk into the town through the promenade. Staff are fab.
