What a gem this country hotel is. With eleven guest rooms, you feel the personal touch and it starts the moment you arrive. Once shown to your room, you are offered a complimentary cream tea in one of the beautifully appointed lounges. The bedrooms are generously sized, beautifully decorated and furnished and have the charm of a stately home. The en-suite is large, and the shower super-efficient, whilst the soaps and shampoos are of the highest quality. You really feel important staying here. Breakfast is an event in its own right, where the owners shower you with meticulous attention offering you a wide range of options, before serving beautifully presented and excellent tasty food and drinks. Each morning, we left having been filled to capacity and set up for the day ahead. Leaving was like a family farewell, and I cannot overstate the fabulous surroundings and attentive owners who make this place so special.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The property is beautiful and immaculate, and the owners were very attentive, taking great care to make sure that I had everything I needed for a perfect stay.

Well located, very clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast cooked to order from a good selection of choices including veggie sausage, fruit and yogurt and muesli, warm welcome and helpful staff and owners.

Breakfast was one of the best we have had,everything was fresh and very good quality. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door Can't wait to go back have the full benefit of the garden.

A beautiful manor house in lovely gardens with parking. The bedroom was tastefully decorated with a walk in power shower. The breakfast foods were all premium quality and cooked to order and served by the friendly staff. We had a lovely weekend and would highly recommend. Thank you

We were very impressed by Andrew .when we arrived he served tea and cream scones that just hit the spot. The place was lovely and two comfy chairs in the room, was amazing never found that anywhere before even had Netflix again excellent. The whole stay from start to finish was brilliant could not fault. Small hotel but they had a lift that was perfect for me I could not have enjoyed our stay more highly recommend you try it we will be back.

Slow service, cold toast, over microwaved croissant and over cooked and cold haddock.

Easy check in. Cream tea on arrival, after being shown around. Spacious clean room. Freshly cooked breakfast to order. Can’t fault it.

Property is located just off main road with regular bus service and plenty of parking. Clean and friendly hotel with excellent breakfast. Stayed annumber of times and will go back.

A top quality hotel, very well run by the friendly and helpful Andrew and his staff. Spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished - and also sound proof, very unusual these days! The breakfast was as described in other reviews, everything you would want it to be and requests no problem here. Altogether a perfect place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Excellent. Could not think of any improvements. Fantastic place in a great location. Lovely to hear just birdsong from the room with the window slightly open. Customer service was spot on. Rooms clean and great quality food for breakfast. Definitely coming back.

We booked here for the local Kite Festival and Parkrun, both within 20minute walk. The staff meeting us on arrival were very attentive, hearing we would be running and not having breakfast we were offered, if we would like, a bacon sandwich on our return. We were then invited to have tea and scones after we'd taken our bags to our room. There was the option of a lift to get thhe bags up the one flight of stairs. Nothing seemed too much for the staff and owners.
