The overall property and room were dated but clean. Upon checkin we noticed there were hairs in the bathtub and on shower walls. When we reported it, the staff was quick to clean the whole bathroom. We were disappointed that the television in the bedroom did not work, the staff could not get it working and did not offer to replace the television or the Direct TV modem so that we would have a working television. The hotel was booked at very low capacity, so there were plenty of possible subsitutes. The check in staff was excellent and very helpful.

Friendly staff, clean room. It was nice they accommodated our little dog. The bathroom (toilet and shower) was incredibly small and the sink was outside in the main room.

Wonderful place. Quiet, felt safe, very clean and felt updated. We checked in after hours and it was seamless. Would highly recommend.

Nice property, rude staff. Pets allowed does not mean pet (or service animal) friendly.. When I checked in the receptionist was sure to be vocal of that fact that she will have to change my reservation to another room since she saw a dog in my car when I pulled up. She then tried attaching an $88 (EIGHTY EIGHT!) dollar fee to that until I provided prof of my dog being a registered service animal, which was reluctantly accepted with an eye roll. As I was in town for a wedding I requested a late checkout which was granted with another eye roll. Yet exactly at 10am, which is 1 hour before check out time and 2 hours before late check out, and although I had a do not disturb sign on the door, a housekeeper comes walking in unannounced as she was told by front desk the room had been vacated The property itself I found to be very nice. Clean, modern, nice patio area and good breakfast. The “hospitality” workers however, could benefit from a workshop or 2 on hospitality

The property was great, service wonderful but now almost 2 weeks out we still havent recieved our deposit back. That seems shoddy.

Nice place, excellent service

The staff were friendly and the room it self was clean and met our needs for one night. TV worked but couldn't adjust the volume so we could hear it. Breakfast was not good. Could not find regular coffee anywhere.

I was pleasantly surprised, based on the cost I was expecting a lot less, clean and refurbished everything.

A nice updated property. Very clean and staff was helpful. workout room is in the lobby which is a little different but overall the we would stay here again.

This is our go to stay when we are in Indianola to see our kids. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that so e places have bit that is not our dialog. For the price it is great. Staff is always friendly, breakfast is good. Love the apples and coffee available all the time. Even though it is now the highway it is quite. The lobby is great for extended conversation too.

Friendly service. Easy check in. Room was very clean and bed was firm which I loved.

Short trip to Indianola for a few days of work. Chose to stay at the Hotel Pommier because of the reviews and the local flair of the place. Everything was good accept for the refrigerator. Understandably the hotel turns them off when rooms are not in use to save on electricity, however there was a very distinct and unpleasant odor coming from the fridge. The odor did improve as the fridge cooled back down, but it made an impression.

Why did i get charged on weekends when i booked at one price?

Hotel Pommier is our go-to hotel when visiting Indianola. Always a great experience!

I always enjoy staying here when attending events for my daughter at Simpson College. I love the humor in their signs placed around the hotel. It is always safe, clean, and quiet.

Quiet and safe. Good breakfast, just recently added a waffle iron.
