We loved this place. It was so much fun! Besides a fight with a wasp its was amazing. Oh and sorry about the beetle.

Many things to do if you don't want to go anywhere. Close to shopping, restaurant.

Every thing was great except the spider all over entry and patio. Had to kill them for two days because property did nothing after asking

When we walked in the lodge it was spotless. Very homey and clean. The staff was so kind. We will definitely be back.

Great for families. The only negative is that you could hear the people in the apartment upstairs, really loud, all night walking, going to the bathroom, etc

Very clean and spacious rooms. The walls are pretty thin and the kids and I were up until 2 am because of the people that were staying above us.

Apartments, not a hotel room. Things to do on the acreage. Nice staff, quiet setting… perfect when coming in yo visit relatives in De Soto and Festus!

It’s fantastic… there is 26 in our family and there is something for everybody. Our stay is always a family fun time … we will be back for the 4th time next year… thanks to all the great employees that make our stay happy and blessed!

Upon checking in, the price I was charged before I checked in was different than my booking. I chose to pay at check in, and the amount was off by more than $200. I was told that they were aware that the dollar amount seemed off but that they went ahead and charged my card that I used to save my booking anyway. No attempt to contact me prior to my arrival was made to alert me to the issue. Ultimately they were able to get the issue sorted out with Expedia but it would have been nice for them to hold off on charging me so then it wouldn’t take days for money to be returned to me or at the very least communicate that they knew there was an issue and the were attempting to get it sorted out. Otherwise the rooms were spacious, clean and above my expectations. The available activities were nice if you wanted to participate in them and off property excursions were close by and easily found.

The rooms are a bit dated but very spacious and have everything you need. There are a lot of activities throughout the resort. The biggest issues are the internet speed, which is dreadful, and lack of a restaurant / bar. There is a snack bar but very low quality. For this being a resort with many units and activities, they would benefit greatly (and like profit from) and decent restaurant and a bar with at least beer and wine.

We had an excellent stay except for the neighbors above us. We complained, but nothing happened.

Great experience! Property was well-maintained & there were planned activities if you wanted to participate. I would highly recommend.

Nice 2 BR, 2 bath suite with balcony. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed. My only complaint was there was not a true shower in the master BR. Had to use hand-held shower wand from big jetted tub.
