Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location with easy walkable access to old town and beaches.

We had booked an executive room and requested a King Size bed. On arrival we had twin beds, rather than king. I understand that the website says you can't guarantee requests will be met but I would have expected that we would have been notified in advance that our request could not be met as opposed to being disappointed on the start of our holiday. The room rate is very expensive. I think you should change your policy to let people know in advance whether or not you can meet their requests.

Great location, helpful staff. Duplex room was nice and quiet but would have preferred an executive room as prefer to have a view.

Room was excellent in size , cleanliness .Executive room 201. Good view of plaza Guipúzcoa. Restaurant is very limitedc. Buffet breakfast is adequate but looks very scanty compared to NH hotels Aranzasu .location is perfect. Airconditioning is US standard. For a $500 a night room, you have to ask for Kleenex from the Desk and they give you this pathetic small pocket packet containing 7 pieces.

The hotel was beautiful, very clean and in an excellent location. Close to the beach and all of the local restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were on our honeymoon and they had left a thoughtful note and cake for us on our arrival.

Lovely hotel on the edge of Old Town San Sebastián. The welcome was warm & friendly (great reception staff throughout) and the room was a good size with great facilities - best sleep on holiday ever. The bar shuts early, which was disappointing (no chance for night cap). The breakfast choice was extensive but often depleted as kitchen staff was low - they made a great effort, but only so much you can do on your own. Overall, a thoroughly great stay and would recommend.

Perfect location and walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. Shops, restaurants, bars etc. Can’t wait to return.

Nila at the front desk was outstanding. Very patient, always helpful, and a delight to work with. Evening staff (can't recall name, but Argentinian) was just the same. In fact all staff were wonderful, but we worked most with these two.

Here are the two reasons I did not give this property a 5 star rating even though I loved my stay here. 1. Let’s talk about the restroom. I didn’t realize that there is no door in the entryway to the restroom. Let me explain. You enter, and right in front of you the single sink. Fine no problem. and as you standing in front of the sink, to your right you will find the shower. Now come back and start at the sink, to your left is the too and a euro toilet with a door. Now keep in mind when you entered this wet area from the entryway there was no door. So you could be lying down in bed and you can hear someone getting up to go to the restroom or taking a shower because there is no door separating the wet area from the rest of the room. 2. The lighting in the room was a bit too dim. This was quite a challenge when applying makeup.

amazing staff great hotel perfect location for spring break

In downtown San Sebastián this was an amazing place to stay during my visit. Just a couple of minutes from the beach and surrounded by delicious cafes and restaurants - highly recommend. The room was a large size and comfortable.
