We stayed at 5 hotels in our 8 day visit to Norway. Hotell Koselig and another in a busier urban setting were our favorites, but for different reasons. Hotell Koselig is owned and staffed by very nice and thoughtful people, as was demonstrated by ensuring our room was ready and warm even though we had only made the reservation an hour prior and the assistance offered and given to carry our bags up the stairs. In the morning, another staff member asked if we had slept well, remembering I had shared how little sleep we'd gotten the night before. This attitude towards guests made us feel welcome in a way a larger hotel simply cannot do. The hotel is in a small town, sitting just above a neighborhood of houses and small shops. It is quiet can clean and we appreciated that. The breakfast was simply fantastic. Thank you for the hospitality.

Good hotel & free hot drinks, but they were replacing the cladding & drilling into the walls at 8am

We had a nice overnight stay at this hotel. Would’ve had trouble finding it without the hotels.com map. Facility was very clean, staff was very pleasant and easy to deal with. The included breakfast was very good. It was located in a very quiet area.

This place is odd and very outdated. Furniture is stuck in the 80s and dinged up. No refrigerator. There was a really loud air vent in our room. They updated part of the lobby - so strange because the rest of the place looks like a completely different hotel. On the plus side, the breakfast was nice and our family room was a decent size. The town is sad and lonely.

God frokost, god service! Mangler heis, men fikk tilbud om bærehjelp om jeg ønsket det. Fikk bragt mat fra restaurant til rommet, og meget god mat.

Likte ikke rom med tepper og bad var gammelt.
