Great stay, friendly staff, good room, quiet location

Staff is very nice and the area is great. Room itself is highly no-frills, though it was very clean. No AC in room that I noticed - but being december didn't need it.

Very nice establishment, however if you're put in a room that’s facing to the street it can get rather noisy. The breakfast, staff and overall experience was excellent. It was nice to have a full size tub as I caught a head cold wile traveling and it was to have that amenity. Would highly recommended.

Warm welcome at 9pm. Clean, comfortable twin room. Didn’t use shower or eat in restaurant so no comments there. A socket or two next to the bed would have been useful. Otherwise, exactly what we ordered. Great value.

The room was very clean and tidy, the ensuite was compact but perfectly acceptable. The only issue for me was the room was very hot, they provided a fan but this barely touched the heat. Doesn't really detract from the stay though.

Great location close to Paddington station, Hyde Park made London very accessible. Friendly staff in a nice hotel. Affordable and comfortable. Highly recommended to others

Excellent value for the money. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, efficient check in process. Good room amenities- hair dryer, coffee,tea, milk and biscuits daily. Excellent location by 2 tube stops. Multiple mini-markets.

Friendly front desk staff. Room was clean. Location is good close to transport. Found it a bit noisy, our window backed onto the main road, could hear all the night crawlers but worst was the delivery vans at 5 am other than that everything else was good.

The room was functional- nothing fancy. It did not include soap in the bathroom. :( While centrally located, the room was very loud at night as it is on such a busy street.

I’m unsure of why this hotel is rated “excellent.” It is far from that. It is just basic. No mirror anywhere other than bathroom and no outlet in bathroom to do hair. It’s very old and dated. Breakfast needs vegan options. Kind of away from a lot of the main attractions. Would not stay again. As I said, far from excellent

Very good and friendly front desk service. Location is great to transportation and restaurants, pubs, and shopping.
