Clean room. Close to sites. Very helpful staff.

Décevant! Les belles années de l’hôtel Thissio sont assurément révolues. L’hôtel est désuet. Le tarif est beaucoup trop dispendieux pour l’offre. Le petit déjeuner est médiocre. Seul le café est bon. Le personnel est respectueux et polis mais la prestation du service est approximative. Le seul point positif de cet hôtel est son emplacement très près des sites d’intérêts.

Balcony with the view of Acropolis is amazing both during the day and at night! Breakfast is great! Staff is very friendly! Location is quite convenient with great restaurants nearby.

We booked the corner room with acropolis view. It was incredible. Walking distance to anything and everything you could want. The staff were friendly, the neighborhood was great. My schedule was so packed that I didn’t have time to try the breakfast but I wish I did! My only minor complaint is that the beds could be higher quality rather than springy. Otherwise wonderful stay 100% would recommend!!!

We stayed here 2 nights prior to our cruise to sightsee Athens. Great location, walking distance to Agora, Parthenon and much more. So many restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. Very nice and helpful staff. Room and bathroom were small but didn't matter to us. Short ride to The Plaka, must do!!! Weather was perfect, just a wonderful place to start our vacation.

Love everything about this hotel- so happy we found it. We had the cheapest room but I was pleasantly surprised- the room is modern the bedding is clean and comfortable coffee maker supplies provided. Very good breakfast-with the fresh food to order, coffee , fresh squeezed juice. And you cannot beat the location - in a lovely pedestrian street with a lot of option for food and coffee with a view. The staff was extremely accommodating. And the view of acropolis from the room is magic. Thank you hotel Thissio

Great location. The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good in quality and portions. Rooms are good and well equipped. Not having a helpdesk 24/7 can be somewhat uncomfortable for some people. Overall a good experience; will stay again

Great location and service. Quiet, but we were there off-season. I think it might be noisy during high season as the strip it’s on is full of restaurants with street patios.

Lovely room, incredible views of Acroplis Pantheon and other sites. We had corner room, bed was very comfortable. We canceled another hotel to stay here again.

This property was convenient and close to attractions…Acropolis, Monastiraki Square, shopping, transportation. It was easy to walk places. Lots of restaurants were nearby. It was quiet. The balcony in our room was great. Fabulous view of the Acropolis and surrounding area. The rooftop restaurant- The View, was very good. The breakfasts each morning were wonderful. Lots of options. All staff were friendly and very attentive. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Situation idéale pour la visite de l'Acropole (6-7 minutes à pieds) et d'un arrêt principal des bus hop-on/hop-off (4-5 minutes). Vue incroyable sur l'Acropole. Nombreux restos à proximité. 10-15 minutes de Plaka et Symtagma. Très bon petit déjeuner. Repas du soir sur la terrasse sur le toit avec vue sur l'Acropole éclairée - wow! Et Terry, le gérant (ou le proprio?) : une perle! Accueillant, sympathique, serviable. Je n'écris pas souvent de critiques, mais celui-ci vaut vraiment la peine.

Simply amazing. One of the best locations if you want to immerse yourself in ancient and modern Athens. I wish I had booked a couple of more days in Athens because of this hotel. Terry, the owner/manager is a fantastic host.
