Nice room. No staff.

If they could speak English ore German it would make the life much easier.

The whole stay was lovely but in particular I want to thank the woman who checked us in. We arrived an hour earlier than planned and she was getting ready to leave. She stayed to check us in, and throughout our stay was friendly and helpful, asking if we wanted housekeeping or an early breakfast on the day we left. I wish I could name her but I hope she knows how much we appreciated her help.

I liked the quiet. I did not like

Very nice place. We were unlucky as we had two days of rain. Room very nice. Only discounts for: - no heating in bathroom - very cold tiles and no slippers. Would be easy to put those. There was a space heater, but it cannot be moved to the bathroom (no plug) - internet did not reach top floor

Very clean, welcoming and characterful hotel. The person managing the hotel went out of her way to accommodate a late arrival, and even made an early breakfast for us.

Beautiful rural area

Wonderful small apartment north of Madrid so we took bus in town and it was great. Friendly staff. They even brought us breakfast each day as we left for Madrid early. It could use better lighting to try to read. We had an incident with the room and reported it for them to monitor.

One of the best customer service experiences that I have ever had at an accommodation. We were leaving early for some outdoor activities and the host made us breakfast in advance, offered us coffee/water/juice etc. They kept asking if everything was okay. Beautiful scenery and they had a nice restaurant on property. The room was big and a large breakfast is available for free.

Is just a good place, they have some heating problems, sometimes is too hot and sometimes there nit at all. This is the Sierra of Madrid. Meaning, in there is 3grades under the weather in Madrid. The place Is quite cold at night.

Hard to sleep as the 2 story cabin squeaks often as the wood contracts. The owners live somewhere else, so we were alone all night. We would not stay there again.

The hotel was obviously very Spanish and pleasantly quiet . Ideal stopover between the northern seaports and the costa’s . Would like to see the rooms better lit ,. The bathroom was nearly in darkness . The receptionist was lovely . Would definitely stay here again on a stopover .

The "apartment style" accommodation suited us perfectly. The space is very cozy, including fireplaces with wood available. The property is private with pretty outdoor space. An excellent restaurant is adjacent to the property.
