La temperatura del hotel la tienen controlada y es muy alta aún en invierno, es muy difícil descansar, las habitaciones internas son asfixiantes y aunque nos cambiaron de habitación a una con vista externa, el calor se concentra demasiado.

The room itself is basic but clean and functional. Sadly, it’s very noisy if you have a room facing the main road. I was on the 2nd floor and heard nothing but traffic, shouting from passers by and sirens all night, every night. If you’re a light sleeper or not used to city noises, that’s not ideal. There was also a small cockroach in the bathroom was, while I appreciate they’re everywhere, wasn’t pleasant. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location and the staff are all great.

Cheap hotel, good location

The hotel is just steps from Placa de Catalunya, the center of action. Friendly and helpful staff speaking fluent English. Room was comfortable.

Staff were amazing at the hotel, very welcoming and kind - Nura at reception went that extra mile in terms of help, she is lovely. I love coming back to this hotel each year when we visit Barcelona!

Friendly staff, Clean spacious rooms and super central location

The hotel is pretty overpriced for the level of accommodations. Would not book again. The location was good though and right next to metro station. Easy to get around. Other than that I can’t recommend it.

I booked my room through hotels.com and saw good reviews. The location is very central and some staff are polite. However, I was allocated a tiny room on the 7th floor with only a small window facing an interior patio. The room had some vents that were constantly pushing very hot air into the room. The air conditioning was not working because is winter and there was NO AIR coming in from outside, since this was an interior patio - only smell from nearby restaurant kitchens came in, but no air. I explained that the room was very hot, but I was denied 'an upgrade' and was told by the receptionist in the afternoon that I got what I paid for. When I came back in the evening I was sweating and feeling sick, with a headache due to the heat. The lady downstairs explained that this is the system they have, it is either very hot or cold, they cannot regulate it and neither can the guests, because the room was very small and interior, the effect was more intense, turning my room into a sauna/oven with 25 degrees at one point. I went to reception and said I had to sleep in the lobby because I would asphyxiate in that room. She eventually offered me a room on the first floor, with no heating at all, which was actually pleasant in comparison. I eventually got to sleep at 3am. I would avoid this place unless they change the heating system.

Amazingly helpful staff; we especially appreciated the assistance of one member on our last day as it was raining and she helped with providing umbrellas and moving our luggage.

This hotel is overrated as 4 stars. The location is great and the rooms are clean. However, there is no coffeemaker in the room. The nightstands are so tiny. The windows are not soundproof. Our room was on the street side and we could hear the street noise all night. They have very bad service. When my husband asked for an extra blanket he was told to pick it up from the front desk. This is unheard of. Do not stay at this hotel. It is overrated and overpriced.

The Hotel offers a convenient location and comfortable accommodations. There is a terrace accessible to all, which was a bonus.

The location of this hotel is great. It is very close to Catalunya Plaza and is convenient to various public transportation and tourist attractions. The property was built around 2017, which is pretty new. Unfortunately, it is not well maintained. The TV remote and the phone did not work. The staff was nice to find me a replacement TV remote. The shower door makes loud squeaking noise. There was obvious mold stains on the shower seals. The sound isolation between the rooms were poor. The water jets of the shower unit need to be adjusted to avoid spraying out of the shower area. In general, this property could be made much better than the current state without spending too much money and could be collecting higher room rates.
