I had a very unpleasant experience at this property. Upon arrival, I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional 500k for an “electricity fee.” The housekeeper even showed me a WhatsApp group chat from the owner claiming the online price had been “hijacked.” I found this shocking and asked to speak directly with the owner.
I had already informed the property that I would be checking in around 10 p.m., but when I arrived after a night flight at 10:15 p.m, no one was there to assist. After multiple calls, I was finally given the housekeeper’s number. Eventually, the housekeeper sat me for nearly 35 mins, who insisted on the extra payment of 500k. I explained that anything paid through the booking app should be all-inclusive, I had to speak with her owner over the call to defend myself, unless it was a deposit, which would be acceptable. In the end, they let it go and did not charge me, but the entire process was extremely unprofessional, unpleasant. I am working in yhe hospitality industry and this was nightmare. It was already late and you had to deal with such crap.
The room itself was disappointing—there were many large red ants, which made my stay uncomfortable. I decided to check out a day earlier, but a few days later I received a text demanding 900k for “overstaying,” even though I left on the 27th instead of the 28th. Surely the CCTV could confirm this.
Additionally, the pool was unusable, filled with greenish, unmaintained water.
Overall, this was not a pleasant stay and I would not recommend this property.
