We had a great stay at Hotel Firenze Lugano! The receptionist was so sweet and welcoming, which set a really nice tone for our visit. The location was perfect for us — we walked the Olive Trail to Gandria right from the hotel, and it was a beautiful and manageable distance. We also ate at the onsite restaurant and really enjoyed it — the food was lovely and the atmosphere was relaxed. While there’s no dedicated parking, we were able to find parking nearby without too much trouble. Overall, it was a very nice stay, and the view from the hotel made it even more special. Would happily stay here again!

Lucca and Lulu went over and beyond to make our stay extra special. Lucca offered to give us a ride to the airport at the last minute when we asked for help since we cannot book an Uber. We arrived at the train station just in time to catch our train to Malpensa airport. Excellent customer service.

Room 5 is part of a one and a half diamond property with a 3 and a half diamond view of Lake Lugano. Room was described as deluxe. Expedia or some one should give us partial compensation.

Very nice hotel and beautiful lake.

No one to check in, breakfast (including eggs) were left out at dinner service, couldn’t pay for dinner as the eftpos was broken, no top sheet and duvet smelt of many different perfumes, hair in the bath of an already dirty bathroom.

Friendly and helpful at check in. Great breakfast. Cozy (small) room. Right beside the bus stops going in either direction. We enjoyed stay.

The service was excellent and we had a superb evening meal. We could walk to the lake, and there is an efficient bus service from just around the corner into town (and station). The disadvantage was the main road itself, which was noisy if you have the window open.

Luca was really nice when I arrived and helped me giving the right instructions to navigate around the city. The hotel is located in a nice area, it’s clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside about this hotel is the breakfast: expensive, with little options, the cereal was old, no fresh food, fruits. Disappointed!

Excellent service, friendly staff, clean rooms, in a quieter part of town. Would stay here again if visiting Lugano in the future.

Evening staff less than helpful although morning staff was friendly and helpful. Bedding was old and of poor quality and questionably clean. Towels were more like rags. Location was quite a bit from the center of town but a bus stop was close. Hardly a view of the lake due to over-grown trees and shrubs. I definitely would NOT stay here again.

There’s only a bed and toilet in the room. Nothing else. No cups. In the toilet, packets of shampoo stuffed at the corner like no one care

The room was not cleaned properly, no AC in this hot day, no fridge, very noisy at night because our room on the 3rd floor was actually right on the street level due to the site slope reason, cars passed by all night. And front desk only accept cash not credit card for my city tax, don’t know why

There is no air conditioning on the property. The property looks like it needs some improvements, but there is parking available at the property.

Location very good, breakfast good ($10/person), rooms older and not very clean, beds different heights, no chair in the room to put clothes down.

The views are superb! The staff are very approachable and friendly people too! There is a bus stop quite near to the hotel too for the city centre. It is a great place to stay and the food is of a good quality too.
