The hotel is lovely, beautiful and well maintained old building. Room was clean and comfortable, A/C was working well, shutters allowed for a good sleep.

Hotel was very nice. Comfortable room with ample space to relax. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Food and service excellent!

The hotel is in a good position for the beach at Gexto and for the ferry port. Parking is free but the carpark gets full as the bar restaurant is very popular. The breakfast is good. A slice of delicious tortilla, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice 5.10€. We would be happy to return

Muy lindo hotel cerca de bilbao

We had the great stay. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival Christina was very happy to check us in a bit early. We had dinner in the restaurant and Monique and her friendly staff helped us with the menu and made sure we had a great time. Thanks to all for a very enjoyable stay. This is a gem of a hotel! Rated only 2 stars but punches way above its category. Cozy, quietly busy with neighborhood families who come by to sit around on the sunny terrace, or the glass enclosed "fishtank", for mid-day or afternoon coffee or a quick lunch. Also has a full-menu restaurant open for dinner. The rooms are large and sunny with modern bathrooms, some with terrace. Very confortable beds, spotlessly clean. We just held a family reunion and the service was top-notch including a delicious dinner of assorted tapas lovingly served by Rafael, who took great care of us. The staff is very attentive and the area is an elegant residential neigborhood across the river from Bilbao, connected by the convenient metro line, within walking distance.

Artaza Hotel was perfectly located for my visi pupose. It was calm, quiet and welcoming. The staff are very kind, polite and friendly. I will be comjng back again.

The breakfast was very very poor and just spread out on the bar. Not in restaurant.

Even though booking site says refurbished the bathroom shower was quite black in some arears inside shower cubicle. Mould I think. Also hairs down the plug hole...yuk! Assistant in the morning not too helpful. I carried all my own luggage. No offer of help. Overall not the standard I was expecting.

Old, not well maintained, looks like the hotel from the shining, staff rude and not welcoming

stayed here to do day trips to San Sebastian, Pamplona, and Bilbao. This is a wonderful hotel and Getxo is a great Atlantic town. Don’t tell anyone.

Getxo semtinde merkezi bir konumda yer alıyor. Bina biraz eski ancak odalar modern durumda. Ücretsiz otopark olması tercih etmemizde etkili oldu. Tek eleştireceğim nokta çok fazla sivrisinek olması.
