Excellent location but not very clean. The hotel inside is in poor condition. It looks like construction is happening.

I really needed a rest day on my Camino de Santiago, and the hotel was simple and perfect. Rooms are clean, oldies but goodies. At the bar-reception, Thiago was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a good, safe option, if you are not looking for luxuries but convenience. It's centrally located, blocks away from all the historic places, and close to all dining and bars in town.

I booked this after seeing there’s only one albergue in Gernika and feeling unsure it would be open. You enter the hotel through the reception bar, the bartender gave me the keys. The room was modest but clean, although the mattress and duvet could’ve used another sheet each as they were well worn. Slightly squeaky bed, decent shower pressure. All in all, not worth the 40 euros but I had little choice.

Nice place if you walk Camino. Ok for one night, otherwise it’s very dated…

This pension is located in the center of town. The staff made the trip enjoyable. The cafe is open for much of the day in one way or another. The rooms and the cleanliness of them could use an updating, including a deep clean. Overall it was a good enough stay.

Very basic. But quiet.

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom clean. The latter could however do with updating. The location was excellent and the staff very friendly.

Convenient location

Perfect location for hiking Camino Norte, room was clean but smelled musky. It was much quieter then I expected

Check in at bar was organised and very friendly. Room was a good size and had a working heater which waa useful when i visited. Bathroom was dated but functional and shower was good.

Perfect stop for a little basic comfort on the Camino del Norte. Friendly and helpful staff and a great salad for a late lunch!

Had flexible check in. Had a nice pintxo restaurant
