We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall.

The staff registration desk were very pleasant and assisted us in calling for a taxi. The photos were somewhat misleading as to the rooms given for accommodations. They are a separate dorm-type building; clean, simple, not at all like the main Estate pictured. The price-point was fair for the accommodations. Breakfast was good though we were not greeted by any staff and were not exactly sure if we were in the correct place for the included breakfast. The estate, grounds & location were beautiful and have such history, it should be a much sought after destination.

There were minor issues with the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom but everything was very clean and the shower was great. The mattress wasn't great but that's the only thing that let it down. The kitchen had very basic provision but it was sufficient for breakfast or a simple meal. Its a lovely location and super quiet. the evening bar was very hospitable and there is a really interesting little museum about the place (fascinating). We'll be back.

Spotlessly clean room. Lovely grounds. Comfortable stay. Easy check-in & out. Easy parking. Pleasant staff. Good self-serve breakfast.

It’s a lovely property and the staff are really helpful

Very close car 10 mins) to Tunbridge Wells centre or A21/Tonbridge. Free parking. Good bistro/ bar, gym, nice quiet grounds. Super staff. Have stayed several times and everything in the room always works and everything is well maintained throughout. It’s not comparable to somewhere like Hotel du Vin /The Spa Hotel but neither is the price. A relaxing, enjoyable stopover.

Excellent location and breakfast

The room and en-suite shower bathroom was very clean and comfortable but accommodation jaded . Felt ok at the price I paid but not if I’d payed a higher price. It was greatly enhanced because of its beautiful peaceful environment birdsong, landscape and very nice breakfast in conservatory room with gorgeous view. WiFi very good too.

The rooms were in good condition and the Staff courteous . However the beds were very uncomfortable. Breakfast cooked food was greasy and there were not many croissants Coffee was luke warm . The first morning there was no coffee in the machine at 8.45 11/11 . Poor provision for guests

Located on a great property but wish I looked at reviews before I booked. Accommodation was definitely uncomfortable and loud.

Attended for a wedding, the main property is fantastic and the surroundings are beautiful, the food was very tasty and the staff are helpful, room needs some TLC, better mattress and new carpet, the food and staffing of the event made up for it

Short business trip so was just looking for a cheap place to stay. Single room with all the essentials in a modern block of conference centre type rooms. The main building though is an old country house and is beautiful and used as a wedding venue. Breakfast included was very good. Would have liked to have stayed longer so I could look around the estate.

Have now stayed there three times and never had any problems. The grounds are wonderful.

The breakfast was excellent self service. the room was quiet and the beds were comfortable but the bathroom smelt of mildew and the shower really wasn't usable.

It's a beautiful lodge to arrive at. As guest in the outer accommodation be mindful the old architecture stops here. However, the rooms were soaps spacious and clean and over looked the extensive grounds.

The group staying in my block Canterbury were extremely noisy until approximately 1pm banging of doors etc talking loudly in corridor etc, just awful.
