We were there for breakfast! Everything comes from the hotels own garden. Newly baked bread. Great buffe breakfast. We hope to get to play some guitar there somtime. Also there was a great selection of wine. The view is amazing!

We had a lovely stay at Pillehill. Though one of the owners were sick that weekend, so the chef had to manage both breakfast and dinner including wine service, everything was fully to our expectations. Food and wine was superb. Restaurant is small and relaxed. We had the cottage next to the main building with the great view of the landscape from the bath tub. Staff was very friendly.

A unique and quirky hotel with a great concept, beautifully situated in a stunning landscape. There was a personal touch to everything, the welcome, the service, and each room has its own character. The terrace invited us to relax and enjoy a glass of vino. The dinners were fantastic, providing interesting flavour profiles and perfect wine pairings. It was my second stay within two months, and I'd like to make this a habit!

Pillehill is heaven. We stayed 5 days for a family wedding and were treated with grace, friendly sophistication and impeccable service. Owners and hosts Jannike, a gifted sommelier and Johan a charming, welcoming and deeply agreeable fellow are perfection in their roles. The lovely dedicated staff delivered impeccable CLEAN locally sourced wildly delicious cuisine, (some of the freshest ingredients I have ever experienced) a deep and impressive wine list and cocktails for the most discerning of connoisseurs. The views from the dining room are breathtaking. The rooms are CHARMING! Each is utterly unique and individually decorated with chic humor, elegance and comfort. These are OLD buildings that have been Impeccably renovated and updated. Beautiful modern bathrooms add of touch LUXE. Well stocked mini-fridge with very fairly priced yummy treats, You will find enveloping nature with sweeping views, peace and quiet and gastronomic delight and satiation at Pillehill. Hillton, the enthusiastically adorable Dalmatian will be sure you have fun!

Lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff. We had a great 5 course menu and the wine pairing worked very well. The breakfast was also hearty with lots of options. On top of all this I should mention the lovely view, jacuzzi and special shout for quintus the dog
