The hotel is beautiful, the view from the room, amazing. It is on top of a hill, near the panoramic road. The King with 2 twin beds suite is HUGE. It's like a house or apartment. The A/C unit felt small for the room, but when all windows/doors were closed and the temperature lowered to 15, it cooled the room down. We would also open the french doors in the evening to enjoy the cool breeze. No mosquitoes or flies were seen during our stay. The bad thing about this hotel is that there are NO elevators, stairs only. It was difficult taking luggage up to our room on the 3rd floor from the parking area. Also, if you have knee problems, it's tough going up and down that many steps. Though parking was safe, it was limited. The entry had a steep, curved slope, so it was hard getting in and out. We did it, but it was nerve racking for us flat landers. The restaurant's breakfasts were delicious and reasonably priced. I do recommend this place for people without mobility issues.

It’s alright. Make sure you’re in REALLY good shape. It’s a steep hill and hundreds of stairs to get there daily from downtown. Check in was bad. Took 30 min with no explanations. Views are great from here but you’re probably better off taking a place closer to downtown. Rooms are big. It’s good for the price and if you plan to hangout there a ton.

Very nice hotel with the perfect view of the city

Had booked a different hotel chocolate branch hotel, paid, then TWO DAYS before our trip we were informed by Hotel Chocolate Suites that they were " moving us to a different location" Not the area we chose, much further from everything, very inconvenient. Offered no solutions. Arrived at the hotel and it was ridden with bugs ( roaches and other types) roaches in the room, bed hard as a rock, sheets, blankets and towels smelled bad, the room felt like a dungeon, water ice cold, we had to book a different hotel after 1 night. Hotel supervisor refused to give us a refund or anything, instead offered a ride to the airport. Complete waste of money. Disappointed in their management for changing plans on their guests and refusing a refund to make up for it. Will advise everyone that I know to never stay here.

The staff was awesome. Upon informing the receptionist in the evening that both beds had dirty sheets, she replace herseft.

The view is beautiful from the room but I have to update my reservation because the room wasn’t available at 3:30 pm so I have to pay extra fee in order to have a room right away. Bathroom in bad conditions and old. Walking distance from hotel to teatro Juárez and Center is not 5 minutes, it took us 15 minutes, they need to be honest on that information.

Very friendly staff! Incredible views. We loved the walk to and from town (get ready for lots of up and down hills). This is a budget stay. Prepare to bring your own soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. Glad they offered bottle water in the main area for us to refill our water. The chain was broken on our toilet. We let the staff know but no one came to fix it so we fixed with a bobby pin.

Absolutely stunning view! The service was amazing! We were a little disappointed with there being hairs in the bed, but the cleaning staff offered to take care of the situation. The view makes it worth it all! It’s stunning watching the sunrise 🌅 and the sunset.

On top of a cliff so very difficult to access. View was spectacular.

We loved this hotel. Great quiet view of Guanajuato. We were able to see the whole city without hearing a sound from it. The staff were absolutely amazing. They were very friendly and accommodating for meals. Overall, we would come back.
