We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value.

This is an older basic inn. The location is an easy walk from the ferry docks even with luggage. The inn is well maintained and clean.

Super convenient location, 3 minutes walk from the port and many restaurants around. The owner of the house is an artist and I adore Antonio's paintings in the reception area. Clean and basic facilities but that's all I needed. The only thing that's is not working the drainage in the shower box and there is no hair drying in the room.

Very good and simple hotel at the harbour. Perfect location for bus and boat trips. Clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be better.
