We were given a room key that turned out to belong to a room that was already occupied by another guest. Imagine if a complete stranger could simply walk into your room because of the hotel's mistake. This is a very serious security and privacy issue that should never happen. The hotel needs to improve its room assignment procedures to ensure that no guest is ever put in this situation again.

I found the Best Western experience to be excellent. The room was quite spacious, perfect for a small family with two children. The TV service was very up-to-date, equipped with Google TV. So, in-room entertainment was perfect for a family staycation. However, what was lacking was the swimming pool and gym. The pool was a bit lacking if you wanted to swim. Then there was the gym, some dumbbells were missing. Hopefully, there will be updates on the pool and gym. Thank you. Hopefully, you'll like it. 8.5/10 for Best Western Makassar.

Actually the hotel is nice, the service is friendly, but the bathroom quality is lacking, water leaks all the way to the front door, the shower faucet is broken, the sink is clogged, the food used to be good but now it's just mediocre, a bit disappointed because before it was good, the food is varied especially in the fried section there is breadfruit (a favorite). Hopefully it can be improved again.

Excellent service. My wife and two children, aged 10 and 6, were there with me. Breakfast was free. In other hotels, my two children were charged for the same room type. Highly recommended for a return stay if visiting Makassar.

Everything is okay, it's just that the AC is lacking and takes a long time to cool down.

The water didn't flow strongly. The shower needed cleaning, as many of the showerheads were clogged. The water heater wouldn't work; you had to report it before turning it on. The air conditioning in the room felt more like a breeze than a cool breeze, and there was no swipe control.

I stayed there for two nights. The first night, our room's electricity went out suddenly and for a relatively long time. We were really disappointed. But coincidentally, there was a promotion for free delivery to the 99 Dome Mosque after every sahur meal. So, this facility cheered us up a bit. The staff was friendly, but the bathroom didn't seem very clean because there were lots of small insects flying around while we were using it. The food was quite tasty and varied. Thank you for your service during our stay. 🙏🏻 Hopefully, more attention will be paid to all the facilities in the future.
