This hotel is cozy and makes you feel like you are home. As a solo traveller I really enjoyed the feeling this hotel gives you. It is in a great location, quiet to sleep, lovely pool, good breakfast, clean room and very friendly staff. Just up the road is a grocery store and other restaurants are close by. I am English so I found all the French signs rather confusing. I didn’t understand the menu but that is maybe more my fault as this is in a French country. Only one English Channel on the TV. The room was on the small side but I wasn’t in it much and you want to sit in the common areas as they are so inviting. I couldn’t open my large suitcase on the floor but as I was on my own I made it work. I was able to borrow a kettle as the room didn’t have one. No fridge in the room. Bed was very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again and I really loved my entire experience of this hotel.

The staff was helpful to provide essential information about communication, transportation and attractions.

Conveniently located near the centre of town, Le Juliette Dodu is a charming and comfortable hotel in a characterful Creole mansion. The only criticisms to make are that the bar staff are somewhat amateurish and the food in the restaurant is very limited in choice and poor in quality by Réunion standards. However, on Sunday evening there is very little choice as almost all restaurants in the city are closed.

Amazing place with nice and cozy swimming pool. Well located in the city.

Very good location in st. Denis but parking is difficult. . Interior full of character but a bit jaded. Bedroom small but adequate. Breakfast very much a help yourself affair although staff are helpful and pleasant and there’s not a great variety of food on offer. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

The hotel is well situated to explore Saint-Denis. Hotel staff is outstanding -- and multi-lingual (I don't speak French). Single room was surprisingly roomy and had 2 doors to open for the ocean breezes. I felt very safe here. Breakfast was good. Pool and jacuzzi are clean and pretty, but too cold to use -- could be heated. The grounds are gorgeous, clean, spacious, inviting. Wifi was fine, even for streaming a movie in my room. I was allowed a generous early check-in -- quite appreciated after my 12-hr flight.

We had the most wonderful time at this hotel. The location is great, the facilities are very nice, the service is impeccable and the setting of the hotel is an attraction in and of itself.

Lovely old quirky place

We were led to many interesting parts of town by the staff. Both close to the water and to nice restaurants. How wifi rarely worked while we were there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very charming creole Hotel and very well located. The room did not smell Very good and AC system sounded old. Toilets very old and not clean enough. Some renovations in the bathroom are necessary.

Juliette Dodu has a special charm, with a very stylish lobby bar as if taken straight from an old Agatha Chrisie (Poirot) novel. The room was small but enough for our 1 night stay. The breakfast was the best and most fresh we had on Reunion Island (we spent most our time in little mountain cabins for hikers though..) with very fresh bread and pastries. The hotel is very centrally located just a 5 minutes stroll from lively streets and the seafront. On the expensive side for a 3*** but the charm and personal touch to this hotel makes up for that.

Service was excellent and the women at the desk did everything she could to accommodate our request. We enjoy the room and the location of the hotel as it was a walking distance to visit and shop

I loved the hotel, as it is charming and very convenient to the airport and the town. I should have ordered a room that was more than "standard." My basic room was very tiny and hot. It felt stuffy and the blankets seemed very old. From the photos, the bigger rooms look much nicer.

The juliette Dodu hotel is well located in Saint Denis, my room was very clean but also very small for a three starred hotel. The buffet breakfast was very limited, a small basket of fruits,an egg boiler out of use.My worse complaint is about the kindness of the restaurant staff.
