Very good location. Good access to restaurants for dinner and beach bars for lunch. Breakfast was fine. Rooms are clean. Water is not drinkable and sometimes smells. Property is very strict, only 1 espresso pod per person per night. Only one beach towel and it needs to be exchanged via towel card. Also no outside food or drinks on the beach chairs. The ocean view rooms, ocean view is marjinal.

My wife and I have travelled a great deal. We spent 6 days at La Playa - I am not sure they could have been any better. From easy, friendly check-in, amazing beach with lots of chairs and umbrellas, a FANTASTIC breakfast, and a great bar/wonderful lunch choices...and right next door to amazing restaurants and a grocery store. This place is a 10. Katy runs an amazing property and we can't wait to go back.

The hotel location is excellent to walk everywhere - beach, restaurants, shops. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable, especially Elena. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The breakfast is improved from last year and has more options to choose from. The restaurant staff could improve in greeting clients and restaurant cleanness.

Pool area was not maintained at all.

I’m writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with how my room request was handled during my recent stay. I requested a higher-floor room in early September, but I was assigned a first-floor room instead. When I raised this at check-in, I was told the team was “busy” and nothing could be done. This is not acceptable, especially given the advance notice provided. As a result, I will not be returning.

The rooms are great, the kitchenette is so great to have. Very clean rooms, serviced daily. Pool is great, beach bar is excellent with private beach service.

Amenities were excellent, the staff was very courteous.

The amenities was terrific. The room was spotless. The staff was so helpful. Every restaurant they recommended was not only a five star experience but the food was delicious! Best of all they weee all walkable distance from the resort.

The rooms are clean and the beach is decent. I think they take the beach every few days but there tends to be a lot of seaweed build up. Our main issue was the breakfast. They say it goes until 10am but all days we were there they ran out of things like pancakes at 8:30am and said they would not make more. How can you offer breakfast until 10am and not make more food, especially when guests ask for it. The restaurant is also okay for lunch (the beach restaurant next door has a much better and more diverse menu). Overall okay and a bit overpriced for what we paid to stay there.
