I had a very comfortable stay, the room was excellent and well maintained and above all else it was clean and tidy. I had a very good sleep and I have no complaints. If I was to visit again tomorrow would definitely stay here again as the price was value for money.

Jim McGees is a great pub, old school without food, but as a place to stay you could eat elsewhere first then have drinks in the marvellous bar, which has an eclectic array of photographs and posters on its walls which create a very special ambience. The service from the man in charge was perfect; discreet, prompt, courteous. When we retired for the night the room upstairs was surprisingly like something you would find in a smart hotel, the room elegantly and simply decorated, the bed huge with crisp white cotton sheets, incredibly comfortable, a couple of blue velvet chairs at a table with tea and coffee facilities (but you had to place the kettle on the floor to boil it near the socket and it was too big to fill it from the sink so you had to do that using a cup, but these were somehow rather interesting quirks rather than a negative thing, such was our love for the whole experience of Jim McGees. Parking is within the grounds of the establishment which makes it even better. Highly recommended !

The room looked newly renovated and it was lovely. A large, well thought out space that was easy to live in for the night! We could have easily stayed for a week.

Comfortable and clean room with handy parking and ideal location to catch the early ferry back to UK. Also very handy for a wonderful Arts Centre. The bar was friendly and a fascinating time capsule!

The staff were friendly, and the bar had everything for our needs. Disappointing that there is absolutely no catering on site. It is advertised as a b&b but with absolutely no catering this is a false description. Thevrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Great location. Room was a little small but everything we needed. There's a fabulous pub downstairs. Think out lively on the weekend. Made for a little bit of noise until they shut down, not a big deal. In all it was a great stay

I had a lovely two night stay here last week. It's not the Ritz but it's clean, comfortable and minutes walk to the centre of town. Check in was at the pub below, this was fine and they was free parking on site. I would have no problem staying here again.

Easy fast check in. Units surround the courtyard carpark behind the pub. Given keys and pop the keys in the letterboxes when leaving in the morning. There’s a selection of restaurants in town but I nipped to the takeaway just down the road which was excellent.
