clean room

A big cockroach was crawling on the bed when I lifted the comforter. Luckily, my husband was with me and killed the pest. I informed the front desk, but besides some insincere apologies, nothing was done. I had to ask the receptionist to come to the room to remove the pest and change the bed linens. I was glad it was just a one-night stay. I will never return, even if it were a free stay—no way.

Rooms are bigger compared to typical ones in Japan. Love the onset.

The hotel is ideal to use as a base for Kumano Kodo trail as it is has regular buses to all the tourist areas. The hotel is quite basic but this is a small town. I would encourage all to try the local restaurants which look like they may or may not be open but be brave and you will eat some amazing food. The Tourist Info Centre is excellent and very helpful - with english speaking offering.

Great location and we had a room with view over castle ruins. Easy to walk to Grand Shrine. Rooms were a good size for Japan

I am so happy I found Hotel New Palace. The rooms are clean and large, staff is gracious, breakfast is really good. The onsen is a bonus. So nice for a relaxing soak every evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here in the future if I return to Shingu.

Nice big, new, clean room. Amazing breakfast buffet. Convenient walk to the station, castle ruins, and Taisha. A little confusing at first because you enter on the ground floor by the parking garage, but the check in lobby is on the third floor. Just go up and have a nice stay.

L’hotel est propre. Par contre, il y a des chambres fumeurs. A cause de ca , malgré que notre chambre était non fumeur, il y avait une odeur de cigarette. Au niveau du confort, les lits ont un matelas dur. Tout de meme acceptable comme chambre pour le prix

This hotel is a great value for the money if you decide to stay in Shingu. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is Japanese business hotel so it runs efficiently and smoothly. The area is not aesthetically pleasing but it has all you need in regards to restaurants and shops to pick up stuff. Highly recommended.

Spacious Rooms, 6-7 minute walk from station, the shrine and some restaurants within walking distance

駅から近く、便利なホテル。建物も奇麗で部屋も広く快適に過ごせた。 大浴場もあり、疲れた体を癒せて気持ち良かった。機会があればまた利用したい。

新宮の駅からさほど道幅のないなだらかな上り坂を中型のスーツケースを引きながら７～８分程歩きました。もし、雨だったら辛かったと思います。 部屋は広くてきれいです。簡易テーブルと腰掛２脚を移動すれば、海外旅行用の大型のスーツケースでさえも楽に広げられます。エアコンは集中制御で温度設定が自由にならず、一晩目は夜中暑くて寝汗をかいたが、二晩目は寒いぐらいだった。お風呂もきれいで、水圧・温度も素晴らしく、浴槽のカーテンが幅広でしっかりと仕切りの役目を果たしています。 大浴場はまずまずの広さで湯舟はそれほど大きくないが、カランは十分な数がある。シャワーブースは2つとも古いせいかノズルが固定できなかったので不便。また、脱衣所もまずまずの広さがある。残念なのは、利用開始時間が１６時半からとちょっと遅く、朝は使えないこと。 そうそう、最後にホテル直の各種オファーのチェックをお忘れなく。

Sehr sauberes, einfaches Hotel. Wohl primär für Geschäftsleute, da das Frühstück von 6:30 Uhr bis 9:00 Uhr möglich ist. Ausstattung überraschend gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet auch alles, inklusive einiger restlicher Dinge wie Toast, Croissants und Marmelade

ロケーションもよく，快適でした。

ツインの部屋でしたがとても広く、快適に過ごせました。新宮駅まで直線距離にして徒歩10分もかからず立地も良かったです。 那智速玉大社、神倉神社、阿須賀神社、徐福公園なども徒歩圏内で訪れることもでき有意義な時が過ごせました。
