Got to the hotel, entrance has concrete panels stuck in the floor facing upwards, def not disability friendly. Entrance was bare and clearly being refurbished. Room 14, hot tap DID NOT WORK, the overhead lights did not work, the shower door didn't close so couldnt shower without flooding the bathroom. Tv remote didnt even have batteries in it. Bed was comfy and it was a full size kettle - only praise I can give it. We wont be staying again.

All that was there what I needed, the location was what I wanted, staff were helpful, and the room was what I needed.

no idea what the hotel was like as check in closed at 8pm, didn't arrive until the last train, so couldn't get in

Room was dated & in need of good clean. Toilet was hard to flush, sink taps hardly ran water. Shower was ok. No proper handrails on the numerous stairs & no-one at reception at any time, room keys left in envelope on desk.

The staff were lovely and friendly🙂💯 The room although basic was clean and tidy, there was nothing negative about our stay, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again..highly recommend!

The hotel is a bit tired looking particularly downstairs and in the corridors but the room and shower was very good. supplies of extra tea and coffee available in reception. No noise so easy to rest.

I didnt expect too much for the price in all fairness. One of the twin beds and a sheet with stains on, the bed was very uncomfortable,and the noise from the room next door from late returning ,drunken guests was awful.

It's a basic room no WiFi only in lobby area short walk to main shops stayed 1 night just OK for price bathroom on landing

Excellent value and convenient for town centre and beach. Check in procedures confusing as Hotels.com phone number and instructions do not match those on Granby's website. Room quite spacious and clean and well sound proofed from noise of local seagulls etc

Went to benton cliffs. Did robin hood bay to whitby walk. Visited pickering. Chilled out in scarborough

This property is basic and clean for the traveler needing basic clean facilities in order to access the beach by walking. We have no criticism only that the online pictures presented do not reflect what is really the property because it is more basic than the online presentation makes it to be. We are thankful for this clean basic resource.
