Great hotel and location. The only problem was the noise. The room just had one glass window.

The pillows were stinky as hell and they didn't give us new ones so we had to sleep without pillows.

Really happy with all aspects of the hostel and my stay, except for the positioning of the aircon. The aircon device was stuck on the wall at the head of my bunk, literally dripping a few inches away from my face. Obviously I switched my pillow so it was at the foot of the bed instead, but it still made me ill being that close to it, and because it was a shared room, I did not have full control over the temperature. When I asked if I could move, I was given no alternative.

Best location by far. Rooms are tiny. Great for the price. Budget traveling. Not for confort.

What a gem! They say location, location, location, and this is it! A wonderful 24hr supermarket across the street, a 5-minute walk to Leblon Beach, a great restaurant street just around the corner and to top it off a very safe location and really attentive and service-minded staff. Couldn't have picked a better hotel for our extended New Years Eve weekend in Rio! Reasonably priced as well! I do have to point out the street noise though as a concern. It is an issue and as the owner of the hotel I would definitely do something about it considering it's a major factor pulling down the overall review score for an otherwise excellent hotel.
