Staff is really amazing. They went above and beyond to cover all our needs. Outstanding team in front desk including Mr.Vasilis. and the rest of team. Just bravo! Also, great and clean facilities. Amazing brekfast. Exellent location. I would recommend this hotel 110%. 5 min walking to many atractions including Acropol.

From the time we arrived entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful and the view of the Acropolis and city was to die for. Everything was in walking distance from restaurants, shopping and sites. I would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Amazing service, great location

It was my 5th stay at the property. Sadly no improvements...found indoor pool closed and obviously rooftop doesn't exist any more, but prices are higher than before! No herbal tea available and poor quality black tea only in room. No vegan yoghurt for breakfast either, no cherries/strawberries as I remember from the past stays. Maintenance not the best - shower light and corridor one wouldn't close due to broken switch which is really disturbing the sleep. Overall location remains good and breakfast too, but price is definitely too high and there're better options in the area from where you can see Acropolis or have good vegan selection. Overpriced.

Good location. Hotel is a bit tired,, rooms are small and they placed in first floor just above street level which is what they probably do with Expedia bookings I’m guessing. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is located right in the center of the old town. You can walk to the Acropolis and to the main tourist streets. The room had no view (unless you are into air conditioning units then you'll love it). The staff were not very helpful when I asked for help with figuring metro system or charging plugs. The hotel was right on the subway line which made it perfect to get to the port and airport. (side note - Athens subway 5 stars: Clean, efficient, safe, cheep and easy to figure out. Despite what the staff at this hotel thought even tourists can use it.) The beds were super comfortable. Street noise was significant but that is what you get for sleeping dow town so I was ok with that. Now the thing that gave them the 5th star from me was the breakfast. OMG was it ever good. You have to stay there just got the breakfast spread!!!! Yeah, give these guys a go, they were good to us.

What a super nice surprise. It was just a one night stay but the breakfast area was AWESOME and COCO-MAT ended up being much more of a boutique feel than we expected. I would stay at any of these, anywhere I could find one.

Really good spot to stay and best location

The pros: breakfast was great, the staff top rate, location was good. The room seemed tired and little things like the bed light was missing the knob . The mattress saged and needed replacement. The entry had a weird plexiglass over fake fish which made the entrance disorienting. Nice hotel and a bit of refreshing would make it better.

We arrived after midnight for our 2 day stay at the hotel to visit the historic ruins of Athens. There was a problem with our credit card pin and making payment with our Taxi Driver and the hotel graciously took care of the taxi bill for us and allowed us some time to resolve the issue with my bank and pay them the next day. They were so considerate of our long travel day and suggested we retire to our room and this could all get handled the next day. They staff was incredibly kind and more concerned for our rest than worry about a taxi fee. Breakfast and the service at breakfast was amazing. Stella was our server and she was so sweet and helpful. We also met some other friendly staff members the next evening and enjoyed talking with them about places to visit in Greece and in return, we shared some advice about places to visit in the US. The room was very spacious. What I love about this room design is how the bathroom ammenities are laid out. The shower is quite large and separate from the sink area as well as the toilet area. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was very quiet although it is in the middle of a very busy area. I cannot emphasize enough how close this hotel is to the historic ruins (Acropolis, Acropolis, Museum, Arch of Hadrian, and the Temple of Zeus. and located in the Koukaki and Plaaka area. To top it off, the hotel is located directly above an archaelogical find which you can view. We will definitely return for another visit. 10 stars!

The hotel was very clean and well situated, only a 5 min walk away from the entrance of the Acropolis. The staff were very helpful and kind. Lovely breakfast and perfect location.

Here is a shorter version under 1,500 characters: We had a wonderful stay at COCO-MAT Athens BC in Athens, Greece. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was excellent and made it very easy to enjoy Athens. One of the best parts of this hotel was its proximity to the Acropolis, museums, and many of the main attractions. Many sites were only about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the hotel, which was perfect because it cut down on the number of taxis and Ubers we needed to pay for. The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout our stay. They gave great restaurant recommendations, including a 24-hour restaurant about 5 minutes from the hotel that was amazing. When we first arrived, our room was not quite ready, but shortly after, an open room became available. They provided us with an excellent room on the 9th floor with a wonderful view of Greece. The air conditioning was perfect and kept the room cool after long walking tours in the Athens heat. Breakfast was good, fresh, and enjoyable. COCO-MAT Athens BC was a great place to rest, refresh, and enjoy our visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens.

Amazing hotel!!! The only negative was that the roof and pool were not open, which was the main reason I selected it. However, the breakfast, the staff, and the room was all great.

Excellent staff, very helpful and took care of all our needs. Breakfast at the restaurant was great with a LOT of wonderful options. Staff was also helpful giving information about the food when I mentioned my egg allergies. The hotel is located in a pretty great spot just a couple of minutes away from the Acropolis by walk, with a lot of places to eat nearby. Only thing that didn’t meet our expectations was how small our room (double room with museum view) was with barely any space to keep our luggage (1 standard size carry on, and one large suitcase about 23kg), way too small for the price.

Great hotel in a central but quiet neighborhood. Wonderful staff and the breakfast is amazing. Walking distance to all main sights and plenty of restaurants. Highly recommend.
