Hotel Moon and Sun is a modern, nicely furnished hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet is nicely presented and continually replenished. The location is perfect: steps away from the central city plaza and short walks to restaurants, bars/coffee shops, major attractions, and shopping. Parking is located at a nearby city center mall convenient to the hotel. (Use the garage entrance/exit on the plaza side, closest to the hotel.) I recommend this hotel for a stay in Braga.

Parking is 10-12 EURO in their recommended facility (depending on using the full 24 hours or not). IT's a 5 minute walk. The underground parking is tight, so know your car dimensions. We had a roof top suite, so great. Else it is dot center in town, no difficulties to walk anywhere.

Excelente location right in the heart of old town and walking distance to bus station if you want to visit Guimaraes for the day. Breakfast was good. The only think is that there was a bad odor coming from the courtyard of the building once in a while but I would close the windows and it was ok.

I booked 1 night at this hotel. When I entered the room I noticed that the bathroom had extensive mould/damp on the bathroom ceiling. I was moved to a new room. In the a different room, however I noted there were stains on the floor. When I informed reception, I was told it’s probably just coffee. The receptionist’s attitude was blasé. The breakfast was bland, not hot and lacking in variety. I stayed here for 1 night and was glad to leave. I went to INNSIDE by Melia (approx 5 minute walk) which was much better.

We feel we found a little gem with this hotel. Modern and stylish decor, spotlessly clean and helpful staff. We booked an interior room, as concerned about road noise but the front of the hotel faces on to a pedestrian precinct, so traffic noise wouldn't have been an issue. Only 5 minutes walk from the bus station, so ideally situated for public transport. There was an unexpected 3 day festa whilst we were there but the hotel remained really quiet. There isn't really a bar as such but a member of staff will prepare drinks for you from the dining room. He even brought ours up to the roof terrace. Breakfast was lovely. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Great hotel. Just book it!

This hotel is incredible! The location was ideal and the staff were all incredibly helpful going above and beyond. Typically during a stay you will find one good person, if you are lucky, but here each person made our stay better in a unique way. The hot free breakfast was also phenomenal! We can’t say enough about this hotel and staff!

Relaxing hotel

Petit hôtel moderne, chambre spacieuse et confortable, salle de bain bien équipée. Les photos sur le site correspondent bien. Personnel professionnel et avenant. Petit déjeuner offrant plusieurs choix selon les goûts. Bon café. Bien situé dans le centre historique de Braga, à 10-15 minutes du terminus de bus. Excellent séjour.

Our stay( brought a friend along) was great; staff was fantastic, personable and very helpful. The location and the comfort of the rooms with a great balcony were outstanding. Breakfast had a lots of fresh good choices for every taste. We will definitely return to this hotel When visiting Braga in the future.

Lovely hotel. Fabulous housekeeping staff. Pedro at the front desk was exceptional. Would have been 5star but breakfast could have been better. While a delightful friendly young woman in the dining area she missed very simple things ie: burners either missing or not lit (cold eggs, sausage, peppers,) some tables not cleared, low on food stuffs (on multiple days. I hope it’s not punitive for her and more a learning opportunity as she was very personable.

Lovely hotel, staff extremely friendly and helpful.. Room clean and spacious (no pun intended), with some nice personal welcoming touches in room.. Amble storage for a short stay.. Breakfast is plentiful, good standard and choice.. Nicely located, close to town centre, shops, bars and restaurants etc.. All in all, a very nice hotel one that I’d definitely like to come back too..

Nice room, great bed and linens. Amenities were good too (shower gel, shampoo, soap, coffee machine, tea kettle, cups and glasses). Quiet for being right in the middle of the action. Great location, one block from the parking deck and one block from the main area. Staff was aso very friendly.
