All the staff were very attentive and helpful - actually felt like they enjoyed working at the hotel. Within easy walking distance to the city centre. We parked at Morrisons using Justpark and it was a 5 min walk to the #hotel - easy!! will return and happy to recommend..

Modern look I had not encountered before, but the staff were so incredibly friendly and positive. The facilities were bright and very clean, the vibes most definitely’good’ throughout the hotel. I would recommend if travelling to York, no question. Thank you for such a comfortable stay.

Visited York for a birthday treat hotel was very welcoming and staff were friendly. Rooms were spotless. Great location nor far from centre

Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Empty shower gel and conditioner. Smelly drain in bathroom. Scaffolding immediately outside window. Over priced!

Nice property, great breakfast included. Unfortunately not soundproofed as advertised

Hotels brilliant; staff are so friendly, food was great and we loved the relaxed atmospheres the family room is spacious and close to where we needed to be as tourists. The beds were a little soft for our liking but we will definitely be back!

Fabulous modern hotel in a great location for visitors to York Minster & The Shambles etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The design of the public areas is fun with plenty of snacks and stuff available for purchase. Great to be able to join other guest having a late evening drink in a well lit & designed, warm and friendly bar/reception room. Lots of board games available, but we and another group played cards. We all loved it. Great to have the option of breakfast or complementary coffee for those who don't eat breakfast. We loved the wooden key cards. The rooms are a little small and the parking is a bit of a hike, but no matter, they have luggage trolleys.

Staff were great and the hotel was nice. The bed was a bit bouncy for my taste and the pillows could use an upgrade.

Sunny weather and a comfortable hotel which is close to the centre of York makes for a relaxing few days break. Our second visit to the Moxy hotel and we will be back next year. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful and it’s nice to relax in the foyer after a busy sightseeing day.

We had a fantastic two night stay at Moxy York. The bed was super comfortable. Really easy to park at the Q Park Shambles and walk to and from all the attractions. Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the pool and foosball tables too!
