Absolutely loved this hotel. Really convenient for us and had everything we needed. Would definitely go back.

I travel all over the UK, weekly for work. This stay was by far the best of 2026 so far! Excellent cosy atmosphere, friendly locals, enough quiet areas where I could get work done. They had hawkstone on tap, and the food was amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone and I will stay again when in the area

Great facilities with coffee machine in the room and lovely breakfast. Fabulous staff.

I cannot fault the Queens at Horton. The room was clean and comfortable,the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great.

Beautiful room nice and warm and products provided. Arrived just before they stopped serving food but the staff were very helpful and delicious meals were served up. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was really nice and freshly cooked and hwalthy ootions too

The toom was spacious, comfortable and clean. A couple of coat hooks would have been helpful

I have stayed more than 30 times in recent years and the standards have dropped significantly, no breakfast available, a really noisy fridge in the room along with kids cereals and a vastly reduced food menu in the bar. Used to be a standout hotel in the area but the Sutherland has taken over from what I have seen - shame On a positive the staff are lovely and it’s very clean

They went above and beyond expectations. The food was excellent, well presented, and delicious. Very clean throughout the bedrooms, bar and restaurant.

Lovely staff and wonderful room. Nice pub setting to eat in. only complaint is that the cutlery/glassware wasn't quite clean (lipstick marks here and there) but that's easily rectified.
