Excellent location, room ok (noisy cleaners) but breakfast service slow and Wi-Fi kept dropping. Worst of all however was the fact that for the second time I was charged for a breakfast that was included in the rate, and billed to me despite me not signing anything. I only noticed this from a review of my credit card transactions - while this was later refunded, as this was not the first time this has happened to me at Sloane Place, I will not be returning. As to breakfast, every day I had to ask for milk to accompany my coffee, and also for preserves to accompany my toast. All in all, rather formulaic and staff going through the motions.

Convenient location

The room was lovely and welcoming my sleep was awful due to the bed/beds as I had an upgrade but when I got into bed in the evening as I had been out in the evening. The bed had a slit in the middle and wasn’t comfortable it was late at night and I didn’t want to pack my case and move rooms ! I ended up sleeping on the chair which wasn’t comfortable and a duvet over me the pillows on the bed was poor quality too ! I checked out and told the lady I am sorry for checking out late by 15 minutes but my sleep was not good I was hoping to speak about the issue but I felt like she wanted me to check out and go not great customer service at all !

Fantastic location and easy access to excellent shops, food stores and the Tube. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Lovely and a bargain for London. Breakfast is very good. I will come back. New HQ for London trips.

Excellent location but small room

Should be aware that some construction still ongoing.

We ended up in a room the size of a rabbit hutch. The finish in the room and bathroom was nice, just tiny. Its the smallest room i have ever stayed in.

Air conditioning is weak. Luckily it wasn’t too warm outside. Beds not too comfortable.

The location is excellent However the hotel is going under extensive renovations. The construction noise was deafening and so we had to switch rooms. Due to the construction, the restaurant was also closed. We were disappointed that the website did not inform us of this before we booked.

Sloane Place is not

I stayed at the Sloane Club years ago, and it was perfect for a woman traveling alone. Chic, quiet, convenient and a great neighborhood. Our stay would e been perfect this time, if they weren’t doing renovations to their restaurant right outside our window. Wish we had been told in advance of arriving. Nevertheless, the room and bathroom were lovely, staff were great, room service delicious, and the location remains the best.

Restaurant was closed

The restaurant was closed and the bar. We were not informed in advance and had arranged to meet family there for early evening drinks which we had to rearrange and no bar for nightcap. I feel that is pretty much what most hotels would have!
