We enjoyed a great stay! The rooms and especially bathroom was very clean without any sewer smells. The air conditioner worked very strong. I didn’t need to use it the full time. And there were no mosquitos or critters creeping in. The host was very friendly and we had a nice breakfast during our stay. It was quiet and peaceful. The WiFi issues were fixed but honestly after a day of hiking Lion’s Rock I used the room to get much needed rest. I would certainly recommend this place to others! It met all my expectations for the two nights we stayed. Comfortable! Hot water! Air Conditioning! WiFi! Peace and quiet! No bugs or mosquitoes! Close to Sigiriya Rock!

I can’t recommend this place enough. I have never before receive the care and kindness as I did when I stayed at Amron Resort. The family owned accommodation treated me as if I myself was family - making me a delicious breakfast every morning regardless of how early I was getting up for trips. Also very helpful in arranging activities such as going on an elephant safari. If you’re reading this, please go for this. It really showed me how beautiful the Sri Lankan people are.

One of our favourite places to stay in 4 weeks in Sr Lanka. If you would like to stay with a genuinely friendly Sri Lankan family, in a comfortable room, in a garden setting - this is it. Look no further, just book it ! Only a short distance from Sigiriya Lion Rock, the owners will be happy to arrange an early breakfast, and a tuk tuk for you.

Fabulous from the moment we arrived. Outside with a torch welcoming us in the dark. Extreme quick check in - shown straight to our spacious, clean room carrying our luggage for us. Once we were settled he came for a chat, telling us about the area & how elephants sometimes come right outside the door. Lovely spacious bathroom with good pressure continuous hot showers for all 3people. It had firm beds, bht we're aussies so use to luxuriously soft ones. They're about the same as Indian hotels. Thick bath towels were good. The view in the mirning is like being in the jungle. It was lovely. Breakfast was when we asked for it & an array of food. My only critical, but minimal feedback is straighten the mirror in bathroom! That's how great this small 4 room guesthouse set right on the edge of a quiet area/ forest next to a couole of small local shops for essentials is. Keep up the great work.

I would highly recommend Amron to anyone in the Dambulla/Sigiriya area. After booking the stay the owner messaged me and was very helpful in instructing me on how to arrive from Dambulla. The woman who hosted is so kind! When we arrived she gave us fresh jackfruit. And offered a delicious Sri Lankan dinner. The breakfast was included in the room fair and was also amazing! The rooms are nice and there is a nice little table set up outside each room where you can enjoy the beautiful garden. The family is so kind as they helped us coordinated rides both to and from the bed and breakfast. Again I would highly recommend Amron to anyone in the area!

Such a lovely plave run by a family with lovely & warm treatment. Hemali & her brother really help me to get around and share with the best things to do in Dambulla & Sigiriya. Place is clean and has easy access to wherever you want to go. Hemali & her brother really took care of me during my stay not only when i was in Sigiriya/ Dambulla, but when i am elsewhere in sri lanka too. they gave suggestions the best route nd transportation from point A to point B including the bus or train. I was provided with a lot of useful tips when I was there and most importantly they make me feel safe since i was travelling solo. I would highly recommend this place for everyone to stay :)!

I highly recommend going there. Himali made my stay exceptional with her kindness and care. She introduced me to Sri Lankan culture and made me feel very welcome. Thanks to her, my experience was not only comfortable but also truly memorable. I’m very grateful for everything she did.

到着翌日にシーギリアロックを目指すために宿の予約をしました。予定より早く到着出来たため、チェックインをさせてもらい、前倒しでロックを目指しました。 下山して、ホテルで頼んでおいたご主人のお母様の手料理をいただきました。 とても美味しくスリランカの家庭料理を頂く事ができました。ご飯の際もスリランカの事をいろいろと教えてくれて楽しい経験ができました。 また、普段運動していないせいか、ロック登頂でかなり疲れていたのですが、ホテル裏手にあるアーユルベーダの姿勢を紹介してくれて、とてもリラックスすることができました。 施設に関しては、この価格であれば非常に価値があったと思います。また、秋にはゾウの移動があるようなので、機会があればまた利用したいと思います。

Sitio donde te hacen sentir como en casa. Muy bien la habitación y sobre todo el cuarto de baño. Buen desayuno y por encima de todo la familia completa, un encanto.

I have never felt so welcome and taken care of by any hotel or guesthouse before, and I travel a lot during a year. This family run guesthouse is so good to stay at! We were greeted with coconut juice, and tea later on the day. The rooms are as new, and this hotel is very new (only 7 months old). The breakfast in the morning was delicious, real and authentic srilankan breakfast. Choosing Amron Resort should be a no brainer for all travelers!
