Everything was great!

Clean room and check-in was flawless. Local staff as cleaners or gardeners are very nice. We did not like staff working in the dining room and bars, they are not much nice, rather rude and slightly passive agressive.

Équipe très sympa et toujours disponible. Infrastructures agréables et bien entretenues, parfaites pour se détendre. Emplacement idéal, à la fois pratique et dépaysant. Très bon séjour, conforme à l’esprit all inclusive.

The room that was initially given to me was not great, and I asked for a change, which the team handled without any issues. Overall, this is a nice location, the staff were very nice, and the food was great as well.

From start to finish a perfect stay! We arrived in the morning and thought we couldn’t check in until 3pm but they gave us access to our accommodation on arrival. The same with a late check out which made our holiday! The food was great, beautiful grounds and beach. Bed was comfy and a large balcony and two pool areas it was fabulous!

Impolite arrogant staff, pool not heated, toilet in rooms not working and dirty, no internet in rooms, cats everywhere...bad smell around and in rooms..very bad hotel

Wonderful location but compressed rooms that have a few decades and perhaps need upgrading. Room lighting poor. Staff very nice although did not respond to messages before arrival.

très bel hôtel, jardins magnifiques, chambre spacieuse et bien conçue, il manque seulement des rideaux (en plus des tentures) et on peut qu'il n'y ait pas un miroir grossissant pour le maquillage dans la salle de de bain

Excellent team

When we told the staff we were on our honeymoon they offered to decorate the room for us. We were really able to rest well after organizing the biggest event of our lives. The massage was amaZing and my first ever with my new husband.

Great entertainment, food, and staff

Property was clean, staff was amazing, only con was smoking is allowed everywhere.

Excellent sejour passé avec mon fils de 14ans. Merci à Fatou Faye du restaurant, adama ,serveur, Fatou Yade la technicienne de surface,Pape de la reception, et à toutes les petites mains qui ont rendu ce sejour magique. Nous avions l habitude de venir dans cet hotel depuis des annees et l avions deserté pendant 5 ans . Quel bonheur d y revenir. Merciiii Awa

Clean and cozy and comfortable

Excellent property. Ideally located. Nice decor. I wish the staff were more friendly, especially the staff at the front desk. They can be rude to the clients. And it seems like no one even taught them to smile or say thank you for staying at our hotel. They make you feel like you owe them something or they are doing you a favor by staying there, instead of the opposite.

I really like the garden all around the property, well maintained daily, I notice lot of cleaning staff working tirelessly to keep the property neat and clean. I also like the entertainment side of the place. Security always on guard to secure the property.

Checking in was smooth and quick. However, when we got to our room, it wasn't exactly the oceanview we paid for. The reservation staff had me walking from room to room throughout the property to identify an oceanview room. After viewing approximately four rooms, we eventually found one, which was one of the last buildings at the end of the property. (This property is huge) The room was significantly smaller than the first room we were offered. We also had to wait for staff to add a foldout bed for my teenager in the final room we selected. But, the initial room had beds to accommodate two adults and a teenager. Additionally, our AC did not work at first, but the matter was addressed. However, it made a loud noise, making it difficult to sleep at times. This was our first time visiting the continent, and....we refused to allow what occurred to spoil our trip. Frankly, the restaurant and activity staff singlehandedly saved our trip. Both teams are exceptional, and it shows by the way they treat guest. The grounds of this property are beautiful and maintained daily. We felt safe and enjoyed the pool and ocean. The rooms can do with lots of upgrading. Overall, our stay was okay. May I suggest having images in the office for guests to see what rooms are oceanview. Spending approximately 40 minutes going back and forth after a 10 hour flight wasn't exactly fun.

I booked four rooms for our whole family; we stayed right before Tabaski and I understand usually after this period it is really busy; I am taking time to review Royal Baobab because it is exactly what I expected and beyond; From Binta at the front desk who managed to get me a closer room, to the staff everywhere, Mr Dos Santos who we met in the dining area; the maintenance of this property is huge and everywhere we went it was clean, beautiful; the beauty of this part of Senegal is just something to treasure; it kept all the culture; the food was a variety of Senegalese dish and European; the rooms kept really nice not too luxurious but slightly rustic and very cleaned; I was taking my 15!year old for the first time; it was truly amazing; the entertainment at night with the group responsible of it was just exceptional! Thanks so very much for staying true to the tradition!
