Great hotel, right in the centre of Monaco, only 350 meters from the entrance to the Gare (SNCF) and just 10 minutes walk from the Port Hercules area. Excellent location. Lovely friendly staff and wonderful service.

AC is horrbile, very hot in rooms. In one room there was a fridge, in the other one, there were only drinks in cupboard without fridge. Excellent staff, very helpful but unforrunately can't help more. Excellent location also. Staff and location are the only good thing about the whole property

The staff was all super friendly and helpful. Unfortunate the airco wasn’t working when I came back late. All they could do at that time was to give me another room. They were helpful with that. I would expect for the rates charged they should have good working airco systems. Staff at breakfast is nice.

Room was clean and location was amazing. I didn’t like the bed as when I went towards the middle it pulled apart but other than that everything was great

The property is good for the location that it is in. Easy access to all the tourist spots. All the staff there very friendly and helpful. Outside the property they had workmen digging a large hole probably for new mains. But that did not bother me. Just made access to the front door to the hotel from the street inaccessible . but you could get there on the side and walk down to the main entrance. All in all we our enjoyed our trip. would go again and recommend the Hotel Ambassdor Monaco. Mr & Mrs A Smith

Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. We needed a change from a double bed to two single beds and it was no problem. Let us leave our luggage after checking out. Air conditioning worked well and our room was clean and tidy. We definitely didn’t have any bad smells that others have mentioned. Breakfast was also very good. Excellent hotel for the price in a great part of Monaco.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! I have no clue how it has any positive reviews. The only reason I booked in the first place is because it looks really nice online. The hotel is actually EXTREMELY dingy and smelly. After checking in and going to our room, we noticed the AC was not working so I went downstairs to complain and she said she’ll move us to a new room. After unpacking all of our stuff, we had to repack and move. In the new room, the carpet was full of stains but I didn’t complain. A few days later, a horrible poop smell starting coming from the shower drain. When I asked about this, they said there was a plumbing issue. We couldn’t use our bathroom or stay in our room because the smell was so bad. They offered us a new room again so we had to fully pack and unpack a second time. This room was nicer and bigger, however when I woke up the next morning I noticed blood stains in the sheets. I had also been bitten by bugs in multiple spots. After sending a formal complaint to the hotel manager she is refusing to give a refund! Even before the “plumbing” issue, the elevator smells SO bad that we had to hold our breath and nearly choke each time. Stay away at all costs!!!!!!

The hotel was fine, especially considering the price point. There was a strange kind of sewage smell in the stairway leading up to the rooms that was unpleasant. The breakfast was your basic cold continental breakfast. The rooms were tidy but very basic, no separate conditioner or shampoo just the 2 in one body wash/Shampoo. Bed was comfy, great location also, very close to the Princes Palace.
