The hotel is in bad state. The room windows looked unto a metal fence with people walking by (what would it take to landscape it?). The pool deck was in pretty bad shape and in parts covered up with plastic turf. What is offered does not match the fee charged

Nice location, really friendly staff. Convenient place to stay for a road trip or when passing through Sur.

Expensive for this kind of hotel. I wasn't able to sleep as you can hear from your room all the kids running in the corridor.. Very ugly pool and cheap hotel.

Nothing special about this place. The room was old and drab. We only stayed one night and didn’t use any of the outdoor facilities so can’t speak to that, but we were unimpressed with the room. The shower had barely any water pressure and spilled out onto the bathroom floor because there was no shower door. The rest of the night we had to wear our shoes because of how slippery the floor got.

We are satisfied overall with the hotel as we had only 1 night there. the check in staff were friendly and we were told one price for the breakfast. But when we had breakfast the next morning, the price was different and the person in charge in the Breakfast room was not friendly at all.

The hotel is nice, but needs some TLC. Our windows in the room were pretty grimy (from the sea?) and we had to request a kettle... then cups... then spoons for our room. The staff were nice and helpful though. The breakfast was pretty average. It’s a cheap and cheerful hotel that could do with a little updating.

This hotel does the job of being a base for tourists visits to Sur, the coast, turtles and wadis. But they really need to drop the words 'beach' and 'resort' from the name. The pool is tiny. That's the end of the resort. And the beach is a gravel and then seaweed coastline separated from the hotel by chicken-wire fence and a public footpath. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fine with a good choice of breakfast items. Easy to access the hotel from the Muscat road.

Wonderful hotel. I loved it! For the price you get a hotel on the beach and can hear the waves at night. How on earth is this only a 3 star? Breakfast was wonderful with many choices. Can’t wait to return.

Great staff, great breakfast, wonderful seaside view. Make sure your room has internet.

The pool area and garden was in poor condition, The green awning by the pool for shade was ripped and needs replacing badly. The bar was terrible as it was a full on smoking bar and smelt of cigarette smoke the moment you entered. The non smoking area in the bar was tiny and a joke. They need to change that and make a nice bar for non smokers.

The room was clean, simple, and comfortable but a bit dated (physical keys are still used!). The bathroom seemed to be renovated though with a big tub. We had a beach view with a small balcony, but the beach is not very nice with lots of seaweed and some trash visible during low tide. The onsite restaurant was ok/a little bland and overpriced for what you get. There are not very many dining options and no tourist sites within walking distance. Overall, it fit our needs for two nights in Sur.

It was a comfortable hotel and our room had a nice sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Very Friendly staff, clean rooms. We had two rooms annexed with a lounge which was good value and suited our family needs, sea view. However, the rooms are dated and in much need of makeover. These rooms were not in the main hotel but in an annexe further down on the hotel site, they did suffer from road noise as no soundproofing. Comfortable, wifi and international television, water provided. Breakfast was good choice. Expect that the rooms in the main hotel building may have improved our experience. BBQ buffet on both nights which was the only option provided for dinner in the restaurant,

Good location on beach, friendly staff but hotel tired. Very small double bed. The food was very poor but the house red wine was excellent. Quite good value considering.
