As always it is a lovely hotel with good rooms and staff.

The quality of the room and parking has declined since I started staying at that hotel.

This place has changed too much. I have stayed about there about5 times prevously. The transfer service from the airport is terrible. I arranged it with them 2 days before, never picked me up. Tried calling and texting them through whatsapp (fromwhich i had prevously arranged the pick up), no answer. The breakfast used to be wonderful, jow they have you go to the roof top restaurant, old encebollado.

The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and efficient, the neighborhood felt safe because of the extra security everywhere, and it was a quick easy walk to the mall.

My expectations were low, and I was wrong. I arrived even later than the original plan of midnight, but the staff kept in touch and had someone at GYE to meet me. Check in (admittedly after 1am) took 30 seconds. The room was perfectly adequate and, more important, had great a/c. My room rate included a buffet breakfast that left something to be desired for sure, but was more than adequate. And I paid $76.00 for all of this.
