I liked the location , the service and the staff attitude towards guest was kind, courteous and pleasant. Other Amenities lie shopping malls and restaurants are at a distance . There is always traffic in Kampala. However nothing the hotel can do. This is government and state infrastructure.

Only one towel in room, AC stopped working, and TV had no channels - but the staff did their best to rectify these things within 24 hours. Once working, TV channels were few. Restaurant menu is very limited and the size of the writing on the menu is so small it’s almost impossible to read it. Staff were great. I just think budget cuts on things like tv, good internet access and menu range has reduced the quality of the hotel. Before Covid it was much better. I hope it improves.

Stay was good. No TV working though which was disappointing. One towel in room, even though 2 guests checked in. Had to ask each day for a second towel. Restaurant Menu is limited. Service was a little lazy. Bed comfortable. Room very clean.

Loved the place, very peaceful and that staff was very helpful and friendly. Family friendly on weekends with the floating devices and jump tower.

The morning buffet is not good, as they don’t have much things on their buffet cart. Inside your room also you can hear what’s happening in the next room, as that much sound disturbance is in night time.

Useful hotel for Kampala . Quiet, clean and comfortable. Shiwing sign of wear. Staff could be a little more attentive. Disappointed that pool was not functioning - guests should be told as that is one of the benefits.

It was nice. Would be much more better if they serve weekend breakfast in the same way as the weekdays. Bathroom was very clean, too.

When I got to Dolphin suites I was told that they were fully booked and would move me to another hotel of similar quality. The hotel they booked me into did not even serve breakfast .

Nice property. Quiet. Need to have own transport or be willing to walk and catch a motorcycle taxi. Service at breakfast and lunch was a little lacking. Noise between rooms was bad. I woke up at 5am two days because of the snoring in the room next to me. One balcony is for two rooms so they are not private. Solid three star.

I have stayed at 7 different 3 star hotels in Kampala and this is the first hotel that I would go back to. The meals were delicious and staff were so friendly and accommodating. They specially prepared eggs and bacon for breakfast (upon my request) and it was exactly how I like it and at no extra charge (could have buffet as well). They can put a refrigerator in your room on request. The rooms are refurbished and very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of hot water and the air conditioner works well. The wifi speed is great, too. The surrounding gardens are lovely and make you feel like your miles away from the bustling city, yet your only minutes from shops, restaurants and attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying there again very soon.

Take a hotel in a great location, with a pool, owned by one of the big luxury chains in Uganda, and somehow make it a disappointment Bugalobi is very convenient for the city, and the area is quiet and pretty. Close by and within a walk you have the Village Mall, with Java coffee and a range of useful shops. The hotel is also quiet and pretty with a pool. All good. And the Indian food at the hotel is a real plus However, due to a particular management style prevalent in Uganda, the management and the staff do not get on, and therefore the customer experience gets lost in the middle. So don't expect anything in this hotel to be done with you in mind. The front desk staff are distinctly unfriendly, and deliberately slow. Rooms are cleaned in a uniquely inefficient way leaving them unusable for most of the day without towels or sheets. The pool is there but only 2 or so of the twenty recliners will have cushions. No towels. On - and someone on the staff loves cricket. certainly not Uganda's or their guests favorite sport. Nevertheless, its on all the time and is usually the channel that works on the tv, when the others do not. Sometimes its on two channels simultaneously. Not so important, but indicative of the approach where the staff focus on their own preferences first. So if you love cricket, Indian food, and have a generally high tolerance for sulky staff - this is the place. My second visit, and I can't see myself returning.

This is a very nice hotel, a little dated, but still in good condition. Room had an outdoor balcony which was pleasant in the afternoon or evening. Staff and service at hotel were excellent. One complaint: WiFi was very slow. Also, there were insufficient electrical outlets for the devices a modern day traveler typically carries.

I had an excellent and comfortable stay at Dolphine Suits. The staff were friendly and the food and breakfast was very good as well. The hotel is reasonably priced and is located in a good quiet neighbourhood, surronded by good choices of restuarants and shopping mall. The hotel also has a lovely swimming pool.

The Rooms are neat and clean. The mirror in the room was absent , had to use bathroom mirror . If the breakfast spread can have one Indian item it will be nice. The swimming pool is also pretty nice. There is a attendant to supervise the pool. The service rendered is excellent and efforts are taken to make the stay comfortable. The distance from the city is little bit high though.
