When we arrived, the hotel did not have the king room we originally booked. Instead, we were given a poolside room with two queen beds, which was not what we reserved. That was disappointing, especially after specifically booking a king.
Overall, we do like the Divi and believe this was likely an issue with Expedia rather than the resort itself. Unfortunately, this is the second time we’ve had problems booking through Expedia. On this trip, we booked a package and even our JetBlue flight seats were changed without our knowledge.
Based on our recent experiences, we would strongly recommend booking directly through the resort or hotel. We’ve found JetBlue Vacations to be much more reliable, with far better customer service. We will not be using Expedia again EVER.
