Very serine place

Very well located with friendly staff. However, wooden cabins, lack mosquito nuts and basic toiletries for shower and other hygiene..

Friendly clean lodge a short walk from the beach, small clean pool, good Wifi at reception and restaurant (but not in rooms or at pool). Restaurant serves good but rather expensive food.

Amazing place including the monkeys staff and owners so accommodating nothing g a problem for them would recommend a frw nights there if travelling around Zanzibar

Right from before arrival, managers confirmed our room as well as shuttle pick up. Room was ready for us to sleep in late at night. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Guesthouse is lovely with comfortable beds, fans, great meals, water shoes available, lounge cushions, walk to beach, advice and booking of tours, Pool is a cool alternative to the ocean. Beach is lovely. Price is very reasonable. It is a lovely, intimate, quiet, friendly place.

Perfect mix of free spirit bungalow style and comfort convenience. The host team is very friendly, welcoming and can make all local arrangements for guest's adventure travel in the area. Decorations in common areas and inside bungalows are thoughtfully funky and unique which reminds you at every turn that you are in a very special corner of the world ... Zanzibar !

An amazing guesthouse with friendly, helpful staff. Very relaxed family feel.

This has to be the best guest house I’ve ever stayed at! Before we arrived, Paul arranged transport from the airport, even though we arrived pretty late. From the moment we got there, we felt as if we were home. Paul really knows how to make you feel welcome, so much so, we didn’t even leave the guest house the entire second day we were there and even ended staying an extra night! They even have their own kitchen & the food was delicious!! Being in the customer service field, I really appreciate that he went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I travel the world looking for unique places to stay and the bungalow did not disappoint. The property has monkeys in the trees, geckos all over, and even bush babies come out at night! I cannot say enough good things about Bellevue! Thank you Paul & staff for making our stay in Zanzibar a time we will never forget!

Cute, simple bungalows a short walk from a stunning beach! Dutch couple owners exceptionally helpful and friendly - arranged our taxis and last minute dinner at The Rock in a couple minutes. Hot showers, nice restaurant, comfortable lounging area and pool. A perfect place for real relaxation for a few days!

An attractive and friendly small guesthouse. Attentive staff and management, good food. A good place to decompress, read and relax. Beach access is indirect but reasonably good; however, the nearby beach is quite dirty (including broken glass, etc.), and we walked the beach far less than we had intended.

The management and staff are brilliant. The food is excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. Paje and Bwejuu beach is down the steps from the hotel. We have just returned from one of the best 14 night holidays of our lives. Thank you Bellevue

A very happy discovery! A beautiful setting full of charm. Quiet, small and very special. Wonderful ambience created by Debby and Paul. For a little piece of paradise wirh very personal service and a very warm...and continuing welcome, the guest house has everything you could wish for. The food is amazing too!

We stayed a week here from 10th September so not the busy season, had the beach to ourselves. Lovely questhouse in quiet location. Yes, it's not directly on the beach but it's only a very short walk to a lovely beach and beach beds and umbrellas so no great inconvenience and there is a good view of the sea from the infinity pool. And you can still hear the crashing of the waves on the reef. The rooms may be rustic but are spacious enough and have sufficient space for clothes and has hangers( which is unusual) and are kept very clean. And a good shower with plenty of hot water. A great relaxed atmosphere and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Good food and well priced. Would recommend to friends and family.

I usually don't leave reviews but this one totally deserves one. We stayed for a week and it was a little spot from paradise... The bungalows are simple, cute and comfortable, all areas of the guesthouse were always immaculately clean, the breakfast included in the price was fantastic and all other food and drinks served in the guesthouse as well and on top of that at a very reasonable price. The managers Lena and Michael did a fantastic job, we were warmly welcomed and they helped us with any kind of inquiry we had! We saw other places like hotels and guesthouses as well during our one week stay when we went for drinks but none compares to this one. Highly recommend it!

Nice staff niche stay

It's an amazing guesthouse with the most amazing management. They are the best thing about the place and the hotel is lovely too. The food is so good we ate there every night! Beautiful rooms and location. So beautiful!

We had a great getaway. The place was peaceful, safe and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was just ok, not a lot of variety but the supper from our third night was excitingly fresh and delicious. Not cheap thou and very small portions. The manager was very friendly always sitting with us for a chat a two. We really had an awesome time there.

We stayed at Bellevue for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was the perfect hideaway for relaxation and enjoying Zanzibar's East Coast. The staff were fantastic and accommodated us with an early check in as well as an early breakfast the day we checked out. Everyone was friendly and we very much felt at home. The room was clean, and we had a lovely hammock and chair swing right up outside our door, in the shade. It's a very short walk down to the beach, and we rented bikes to both go North and South to Paje. It was a very quiet time for travellers, which allowed for a more peaceful experience. The lounge/restaurant is very beautiful, especially in the evening for dinner, lit by candles and with slow burning citronella the Mosquitos are kept away. We really enjoyed our stay here, and it is great value for your money.
