Our 2nd stay - ac worked, shared bathroom down the hall was ok but no mgr on site means rules are not enforced. Pot smoking & guests arguing are specific examples. The lobby could use a map on the wall, a chair or 2 & even a small commons area would serve for electric kettle - tea/coffee making.

simple room in an hostel. clean enough. the whole building is quite noisy (WV door, guests doors are clanking and can wake you up at 1:00am if your are not a night bird!

When I arrived and entered my room there was already a couple in there. They were completely naked and getting it on.

The confirmation email contained the special instructions: 'There is no front desk at this property. This property doesn't offer after-hours check-in. Prior to arrival, guests must complete online registration with the property via a secure link. Guests will receive an email 24 hours before arrival with check-in instructions and an access code. Guests can access their accommodation through a private entrance. A virtual front desk provides assistance to guests'. I accept it was my failing not to read the special instructions. However, where the process is so different from approx 99% of other hotels or hostels, I would have expected it to be communicated in a separate message or email from hotels.com I didn't receive an email 24 hours before arrival with check-in instructions and an access code. As a result, I arrived at the property and could not get access to the room. I tried to call the hotel number many times. Initially it rang out, but then it was clearly being cut off by someone who didn't want to answer. After half an hour plus messaging and then talking to Hotels.com, they managed to contact the hostel who finally provided the access code. I don’t think Hotels.com shouldn't allow this type of check-in process. If they do, the hostel should answer their phone

Very clean room and bathrooms, everything is in the room that is needed except a fridge which would be handy, could not fault the room and location as right in centre of torremilanos.

I’m supposed to get refund for one day I checked out one day earlier

I've missed the fact that bathroom is shared however there was a cleaner who cleaned both bathrooms on the floor twice a day, there is not much to expect in this price range however, few little bits could be improved like clogged drains in shower, missing shower window, stains on the towels, smell of cigarettes in the building, wibble bed and broken one of the widow blinds.

Great budget accommodation close to the heart of Torremolinos. Very good value

I booked one night there for a solo weekend trip. Upon arrival, the entrance was locked and the code wasn't working, I called the number on the reservation and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and offensive, calling me names for not communicating I was arriving before check in. I ended up booking another hotel and when I reached out to Hotels.com asking for a refund, they needed to get the hotel's approval. According to the Hotels.com staff who I dealt with, their response was that the hotel is not accountable for the staff's behaviour. I know that this is not the kind of business I want to support.

Quite good for value. Basic but clean

This was perfect for my needs. I liked the fact that I could let myself in with the code provided - meaning I didnt have to worry about how late I arrived. The room and shared bathroom were very clean. Simple but modern decor. I stayed two nights and it found it very quiet. I would definitely stay again .

Near local shops and bars ..5 minute walk to tourist areas

Basic accommodation, yet bright and clean. My only issue was that it has no reception . They sent an email on passwords etc, yet it came mid afternoon and I had no phone reception. If the email had come much earlier I would not have spent time not knowing how to enter my accommodation. Thankfully a helpful policeman helped me.

Check-in und Check-out super einfach. Das Zimmer war gut und mit Waschbecken, Spiegel, Stuhl, großem Schrank, TV und Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Was nicht gut war, war, dass die Fernbedienung der Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte. Also konnte ich sie nur mit dem Knopf aus- und einschalten. Die Bäder sind gut und sauber, und was gut ist, ist, dass es keine Bäder mit mehreren Kabinen gibt, sondern Einzelkabinen. Ein Stern abgezogen, weil die Zimmertüren nicht schallgedämmt sind. Da hört man alles, was im Flur passiert, und das stört während des Schlafens.
